A Popular Song Interpreted Wrong

Creedence Clearwater Revival, a successful classic rock band
performed Bad Moon On The Rise through out my great land.
The chorus of the song sings, There's A Bad Moon On The Rise,
but I always thought that they were all singing, There's The Bathroom On The Right.

...I say this most embarrassingly.
I was informed of the correct verse just recently.

Can you imagine what the rest of the lyrics would be, surrounding and leadking up to the repeated stanza, There's a bathroom on the right? Carolyn ought to have another lyrics contest using this music to see who comes up with the best version to go with this music. may create some very silly songs!
