People's Hope
They asked for a number, i gave them a call.
They asked for a leader, i gave them the hope.
Their shattered hope was restored, the masses rejoice.
A message for the leaders for people's clamored..
Ourplea.....

Broken
wicked soul mate,
Her lovers pride,
Pretense to the core,
Her her fluttered,
She clamored
Her tears dried up,

Broken heart down the line,
Heart saddaned,
Her bellows reached out the realm of heavens,

She exclaimed!!.
All is fallacy,
Trust is costly,
Softly she broke the vow.....

St. John gave its pupils arithmetic
I glided through these
Like breeze of Belize

Los Angeles City College leveled me
Algebra had me on my knees

YET

I clamored to Cal. State, Long Beach,
Where Information Science sacked me

I fought back on campus lush lawns
Lingered crossed-leg in summer sun

WON

My grade was not an F
I graduated and felt blessed.

I went to bed...
But the words in my head
Would not be still
And against my will...
They clamored to be
Written for you to see.

I tossed in bed…
But the words in my head
Stayed wide awake
So for sanity’s sake
I caught every one
Now my poem is done!

I got out of bed…
But the words in my head
Had gone to sleep
So without a peep
I crawled back in
And with a wide grin
I bade them goodnight
Closed my eyes tight
For soon they’d awake
And my life overtake!...

Candy Pennies
Candy pennies were once all the rage
Everyone clamored for just a taste
But history quickly turned that page
And slammed the book shut post haste!

Here is why, when a child swallowed five
Caught in his throat, they didn't tickle
To cough them up was what he tried
but instead, up popped a candy nickel!

A massive recall was their attack
To make the story even shorter
They attempted to get them all back
Afraid someone would try for a quarter!...

Ordinary: An Extraordinary Thrill
The blaring, deafening diesel
Horn warned its imminent approach
To the major intersection
Of town with four cacophonies:
Each longer than the preceding
One as its screeching wheels clamored
Across the unevenly seamed
Cold tracks causing each set of wheels
To rhythmically sound their unique
Click-clack beat as the weathered cars
Swayed side to side in a seeming
Endless queue of commodities.
Far off in the distance is heard
The faint four as it rolled westward....

The curtain rose on a cloudless night
Once More! the crowd clamored

A lone table across the room, a candle
Flickered

Shooting stars lit the sky like confetti

Bowing to the maestro in the pit
Impossible had no meaning

Fireflies sparked in anticipation
Bus service was cancelled
The daily mail, undelivered

At that moment
That precise moment
The telephone rang

Gently, I lifted the phone off the
Cradle

And heard the words I had waited
So long to hear

Premium Member Geraldine and Me
She asked me to dance.
Matter-of-factly, led me
Held my eager hands -
She ruled, and I followed.
Cling to smell of cinnamon, while
She saw dark chocolate, craving to be had.
Neat and tidy as she, speaking.
Charting language of love, virginally.

Naturally, I clamored.
Loving everything of Geraldine
But granny said, "girls don't dance with girls."
She seemed twelve, and I, eleven, sat carefree.
Then Granny and Hurricane Hattie stepped in
Changed trajectory of our love.

After a tepid greeting

A hush fell over the crowd

And as they took their seating

I spoke of my deeds so proud

On this stage I'd now embark

No teller of feeble lies

With a glance I saw the spark

And the wonder in their eyes

So with a smile on my face

I just boldly clamored on

And soon all over the place

That skeptical look was gone

A change from when I started

As their cheering voices called

Bowing, I then departed

And there left them all enthralled...
