There was a lass in Chinatown
Who sold her shadow for a crown
The buyer said,
"We must be wed!
Its pouring rain and you could drown!"
What a pretty little tabby, a cute ball of fur.
I love it whenever you meow and purr.
As my pet, you are a lovable funny clown.
If you want to remain alive, don’t wander into Chinatown.
Change fills the air,
Here as we stroll;
Imprints and fares,
Noisy trades poll;

Laughing while he's counting down
Princess in her gala gown
Through the streets of Chinatown
On her worried face a frown
She's looking for her misplaced crown
While clowns can't do much about her meltdown
He'll at least help to get her home by sundown
