A Chanukah Tale

I met a young Jew
  it's sad to say
Who wasn't taught
  Why or how to pray

I choked back a tear
as I lit festive candles dear
'Gaze into the flames, son
  Their warmth brings God near'

Ah, so tender and pretty; so glad you are selfless and always teaching.

A beautiful and tender hearted poem, Gershon. May God come near in this celebration of Chanukah for you - in this season of lights and miracles. Blessings to you!
