Focusing upon a lantern of thirst
she ate of catastrophes
and quaffed of black karma
cast by fiction in sleaze
camaraderie non existent

Anxiety
For my free thought anxiety,
I do like reading Web MD,
For medical catastrophes,
But what to do, in reality,
Send them off to a good G.P.,
For accurate diagnoses,
Then stop reading Web MD!...

The Refuge To Rely On
People in various places around
the world are anxious or deeply
worried of the many threats
brought by catastrophes
and turmoil these days.
It's important
to cast hope
on one
God....

The Butterfly Effect
Pink and blue in May
A hurricane in Norway
Wing’s careless flutter –
A pure disaster
Violently violet
You adorned my way
So yellow in June
Be careful, my little one.
Haven’t you heard of
Catastrophes you have done?...

As life’s storms get stronger, Hold hands together in prayer; No catastrophes can annihilate us, If our top foundation is Jesus; If we lift our tough brotherhood, Among us builds a stone-walled abode.

If the World Is
If the world is filled with despair

We must still dare to care

If catastrophes are everywhere

We must believe that salvation will be there

If the world is filled with turbulence

We must stand firm and not be influenced

Instead believe that there will soon be deliverance...

Are Catastrophies
Are Catastrophes

Are catastrophes
God save people from them please
I pray on my knees.

Were poor souls drowning
Mediterranean Sea
Am glad was not me.

God saved our each soul
Greatest story ever told
As it did unfold.

The Beginning 6
The power you acquire is bound to destroy you
When not in rhythm with the force that inhabits
You are beyond the physical that seems to rule
That which resides within has superior authority
It must be obeyed or catastrophes result
To the detriment of those who challenge the force
From where the mundane was created for fun...

Apocalypse---

Abortive gorgons cling.
Political messiahs creep.
Other dystopias eschew.
Called messiahs lament.
American messiahs laze.
Lyrical raptures luxuriate.
Youthful doomsayers linger.
Private revelations lurk.
Startling revelations cower.
Environmental catastrophes cavort.

Time For Change
Poetry is for dreamers
A boat I no longer wish to sail
Of wishful love an dreams and desires
And things with life gone haywire
I would rather now be a person
Of astute cause and action
Change the things we dream of
Shake off the protraction
As we look on the impending doom
Daily catastrophes that spread the gloom
Let us bend the winds that threaten to blow us
And make the world anew....

The Lighthouse
Hails upon stormier tempestuous

sea surges, ascending, mountainous

waves crashing, splattering, appallingly

Strikes against lighthouse's sentinelling

Beam glowing, rebuffing, unremitting

High tidal's signature magnificence

To prevent maritime catastrophes

Whence before radar-scope inventiveness

Keys For the Newish Year
Kitchen catastrophes,
kitty got into the closet
the cat has a key
cold cuts today
no time to cross the equator
in a clapped-out cart.
New Year beer
hob-knobbing with the cousins
from down under.
Skype skipping,
excruciating words
not napping but yapping on.
Kaleidoscopic clips of memories
auld lang syne -ing,
merry making
with the madcap amigos.
Cat nipping,
kitty got out of the closet
she got a key
in me....

An Injurious Fly On the Wall
if i were a fly on the wall with a paintbrush,
i'd be lost and every reflex of mine would be disabled by confusion
my handicap would prevent experiences with bliss but would cause catastrophes with heartbreak
by dawn i would dead and unknown with the dried up earthworms beneath the ground of your throne
a familiar footprint would represent the mediocre attempt of my amorous stint....
....and splattered would be i, the proverbial wall dwelling fly.......

Prediction
Silence loomed; people were filled with dread
when sunlight waned, clouds began to turn red.
It was foretold that catastrophes would arise,
moonlight fade until disappearing from skies.

Earth would then tremble; from its axis fall.
In its descent, chaos cause alarm to appall.
I do not believe the concept, this prediction.
It's foolishness that someone wrote as fiction.

A Crown of Constellation

A crown of constellation rests upon her head.
A child born of a prophecy of catastrophes ahead.
Warmed by a dragon's breath,
Clothed by a fur of death,

Dancing among tragedies, disgracing the swans.
She never tangles the thread of her pawns.
She, to death, is an ally of peace,
To life, an irritating tease.

Falls into my arms in a gleeful way.
The fate of light never sees a peaceful day.
Down it comes a sudden thought.
Do I deserve her or do I not?

When catastrophes like global warming
are imminent but no one heeds the warning
beware of guys who see an opportunity
to make a quick buck with your money.

A businessman on the Internet advertises:
Save your home before the water rises.
Save your family! Don’t rely on luck!
Buy now! Shop with us, save a costly buck

before waters reach a critical mark.
let us convert your home to a pre-fab ark
guaranteed to last a full forty days –
and like Noah survive destructive waves....
