Israelites

In spite of these catastrophes,
holocausts and disasters;
the adverse calamities
and endless ever afters;
despite (or because) of these,
we shelter in one Temple,
spreading over seven seas,
we're God's own chosen people.

I like seeing this. I have been doing a deep dive of Genesis. Was surprised to learn God even blessed those wicked sons of Jacob . Their names to be on the gate of heaven. Something like that. He even put his bloodline on Jude! It shows how much God loves the sinners and is trying to gather them to him.

Andrea, we are all sinners, but God loves us all.

In looking at a mirror i/we see of reflections however where is our focus.? Its so in the Word.With meditation.? Did Abraham get descedants as the stars? Did he bless both his sons? Such Questions reach far.' Are we defined by Circumstance? Or can we be uplifted.? What is the chance.? I Am He said before you were.' The Nazerite with such Long hair, who yet drank wine? And Isaiah walked naked as truth..Five years I'm taught' i see rejection in both cases Yet never erazure? Still we read' their traces.?

Yes, Joe, God acts in mysterious ways, blessing us all and providing a path that leads to Him.
