Premium Member A WINDOW'S WINTER CANVAS
A bright sunny day...
Naked tree branches glowing...
Ground-snow reflecting...
What a deceiving cold day
Juxtaposed nature canvassed!...

His Promised Portrait
A thousand jewels tumble from sunlit Heavens,
betwixt them a Creator's canvassed covenant.
Gentle revelation, another miracle of life - witnessed....

Dusk To Dawn
Life …
changes color
when twilight returns
Darkness
a palette
remixing your doubt
Stars
 a backdrop
canvassed with unknowing
Rainbows
left truant
—moon shadows about

Happiness, I have immortalized you inside the sun like my childhood days you are crystallized deep within my memory, a butterfly inside an orange hue more precious than yesterday; Your dusted wings of canvassed gold are the reason I cans still fly today. By Mystic Rose

Premium Member Drunken Painter's Delusion
The purple moment of the canvassed dome
Pink pastel orgies like Miami in the eighties
A figure sits insignificantly on the periphery
To be of her dream is to need to be seen
In the drunken painter's delusion
If she weren't so high there'd be no coral sky
To chart our own dreams by

Premium Member CANVASSED MOONLIGHT GRACE
In the womb of night
I sit here gazing out
And up at the waxing
Moon reflecting growing
Fulfillment of my faith's
Holy answered prayers:-

What a bright night cosmic
Celestial canvassing
Of reality's coming liberation:
To God be the glory
For the amazing grace overflowing
Into my eyes' sacred cistern
Of heavenly awareness:-...

Premium Member The Crossing Over
crossing over…

her chilled breath
caressed my cheeks

no reddening here
just a darker ebony hue

the color collage
of foliage

canvassed my eyes
falling rainbow tears

dripping to nourish
mother earth

matting
her joseph’s coat

reflected by scattered rays
peeping through shuttered skies

the bridge over the river of change
is indeed a delightful crossing...

Summer Moon Over Glasgow
Summer moon over Glasgow
Driving down the M8
20 degrees shows on the dashboard
Who cares if I get home late.

The ball of orange hangs in the sky
Looks bigger this time of night
Hovers above the Glesga high rise
And reflects in the River Clyde.

Though the moon begins to rise
The canvassed sky is still bright
The painted picture shows how God smiles
At half ten in the summer night....

Perfect
Her face is not symmetrical
Her left eye is slightly lower then her right
Canvassed smile lines show her age
Vague, sparse freckles adorn her face
Her character is as pure as the morning light
She stands in the hall like a fragile flame
Her sweet voice floats like a dandelion in the breeze
Her shadow chills me as she glides past
My imperfect bundle of perfection
My flawed diamond
My fading star...

I Begin To Fly
I step up
the open door awaits
sights appear in front
canvassed blue is what I see..

Into it .. I jump..

and drop
spearing
spiraling
careering
head first
into the unknown
trekking down
at blistering speeds

Where I wake up..

and spread my arms,
birthing wings
with sturdy legs

as my quest begins

and I am full of wonder..
for the moment comes,
the clock ticks,
and like a bird,
I begin to fly....
