The metal clock then strikes midnight
as cloud gathers, hiding the moon.
But fractured beams soon bathe with light
the pen's last verse that thoughts cacoon.
Now words unfurl and wings set flight.

Rucksack
My rucksack carries
Everything
I need, I want, I
Wish
To be young, easy and
Free
To do anything without
Care
And compromise but for
Myself
And my cacoon of
Joy
And autonomy, my
Rucksack

free me
from my cacoon
brighten me with your smile
flutter my heart with your beauty
fly me
with the passion of your kisses
as we soar together
to heaven's heights
free me

From out of the womb we are born into a storm.
Like a cacoon emerges a butterfly.
Uncertain of what each day will bring.
We rise and except the offering.
The womb is the calm before the storm.
Where we form and are equipped with whatever we are dealt.
With only one way out.

A sip passes in missing your warmth
In your cacoon
Sound, eternally calm
Holding the mug
intensely
Thy hand
Pleases
Fostering magic to both
To both the warmth
of her lifeless soul and those
cold tears in shriek
A time won't destine
thy sufferings aside
persue my warmth and sleep...

deep prolonged sounds
having no part
higher than another
lights seem dim
in this cacoon of solitude
clouds wash by below
un-seen____
resting upon a cushion
so it seemes
made of stone
with the air beneath__below
with stars in youre eyes
just have when you ever been so high?
kick off the shoes
an enjoy the cruise___
just a jet ride home, after dark..

I do not know?
like a butterfly emerging from it's cacoon.
the world is new for us.
you're a million miles away.
the same rays that touch your face touch mine.
and if that's as close to you as i can be.
i will soak in every ray, letting it drain to my soul.
and i'll know you're touching my heart.
the sun is our connection and the moon our guide.
until you come back to me,
let the sun shine.

I do not know?
As I sleep, outside falls soft sleet and the winds sweeps most of it away.
The birds chirp as I usurp the position of a late sleeper today.
I wouldn't want to wake up too soon, in my comfy blanket cacoon
but as always, I must anyways.
I almost miss the quiet hiss
that signals the need of my cat getting its feed.
After the summer's heat killing
and the fall's sudden chilling
it almost feels thrilling
at the autmun parade.
