A Jet Ride Home

deep prolonged sounds
having no part
higher than another

lights seem dim
in this cacoon of solitude

clouds wash by below
un-seen____

resting upon a cushion
so it seemes
made of stone
with the air beneath__below

with stars in youre eyes
just have when you ever been so high?

kick off the shoes
an enjoy the cruise___

just a jet ride home, after dark..

Hi Gary, Remember me? I hope you are still writing poetry someplace, as this is just one example of your potential and power as a poet. I would love to hear from you. Peace, Amy

You are so mellow. I personally could never enjoy a pane ride like this portrays. This is definitely the only way to fly, so peaceful and relaxed. I am not a good flier. Well done. Love, Shar
