At the peak of her power
the Queen felt oddly weak
Her desire ebbed by the hour
~ of greed does ambition reek
The fragrant scent of a flower
Attracts killer bees by the hour
They all love to sting
About anything
They don't care if its sweet or sour!
The Donald stood atop Trump Tower
Counting his income by the hour
When it would go down
He'd hold back a frown
And when it was lost he'd glower
Some people
Shred and devour
Marking time
By the hour
Crunching, munching
On my soul
Til bit by bit
There is a hole
Where once I lay
Pure and whole
Empty moments'
Moments' in a glass
Once kept' in a glass
Of hours'
Where it has been kept
For hours'
Only to be released
In seconds'
By the hour'
GF
From tall church spire
Grassed calms out to
What extends, by the hour
The shadowy.
As sacred over
Thoughts' hallowed ground
What casts, years further back
A memory.
The human race desires wealth and power
Our souls grow corrupted more by the hour
With common sense it comes as no surprise
By our own hands insure our own demise
There once was a lass from the Bower
Whose fame got her paid by the hour
'Till one Knightly gent
Forgot reticent
And now she's the one with the power.

Have you ever climbed the Eiffel Tower
The view is magnificent, entranced by the hour
But the problem is
Didn't think I'd live
Became breathless and pewky, what a downer
Fragile as a flower;
Disappearing by the hour.
She’s fading from reality;
Everything is imaginary.
She lost the thought.
She has been caught
Talking to the air,
They say nothing is there.
There's a town in Switzerland called Euthanasia
It's a happy place very much like Fantasia
With pretty flowers
Singing songs by the hour
Where we meet our maker to a balalaika

With pretty flowers
Singing songs by the hour
Where you meet your maker to a balalaika

Minutes are melting,
melting by the hour,
hours are shrinking,
shrinking by the day,
my dreams keep me thinking,
thinking bout the power,
as the stars keep on blinking,
having nothing to say. . . .
Form:
Give a crow a challenge, they show off their brain power
Smartass birds, smarter than your average rooster
Brains figure it out
Really no doubt
Watched their unbelievable feats, amazed by the hour
Corruption and abuse of power
Keep Trump in office by the hour
He fires the IG*
So no one can see
Trump gloat in his ivory tower
*There are now twelve
Inspector General vacancies
Trump is loathe to fill.
I do acrobatics by the hour
I am a fast flyer. A real “wower”.
I hold my front legs out ready to seize.
I can fly backwards at a breakneck speed.
Who am I? (Scroll down).
Dragonfly if you please!
DEAFENING SILENCE
MIND OBLIVION
CORNERED
FURIOUS TWISTING
FLIGHTLESS BIRD
USELESS MUTTERING
WALLS OF YELLOW
PEELING AWAY
PIECES OF ME
BY THE HOUR
UNTIL NOTHING
IS LEFT
WORTH
LESS
BROKEN
DOLL
LIMBS LIMP
FORGOTTEN
FACELESS.
Whoever said life would be easy was nuts
In spite of the all good times, it still takes guts
Determination and will power
And love stuff by the hour
And a sweetie to help you through all of the ruts

Sir? Do you Love the Money,
Or, Do you Love the Power?
"The Power is the Honey,"
"But, the Money is the Power!"
Then, how to use the Money?
Will it Flourish? Will it Sour?
"Money never Sours...Honey,"
"It just Grows STRONGER by the HOUR!"
I give you your first flower
Before all your lovers
send them by the hour.
Receive my flower.
Soft and brittle
But how mighty its power!
Let it move in you
when times and sweet, and when sour.
I picked it from my lover.
So here's your first flower.
Rabbis, Preachers, and Priests
Imams and Monks from the East
Each bow to a higher power
But some gets paid by the hour
They vow to love thy neighbor
But profit from all their labor
They'll soon be expecting half
As they worship the Golden Calf
