Premium Member First Fall Leaves
Sun shines
until a cloud bully
bustles his way
to the forefront.
Breeze takes note -
shadows matter,
first fall leaves
tumble scatter.

Leaving goosebumps on my skin,
Autumn shares her puckish grin....

Monday Morning
Clouds cry on the grass,
Little sprouts springing slowly,
waiting for the sun.

Quiet, birds chirping;
Not a creature bustles today
They sleep with the sun.

The Race Is On
On your mark set go
watch them race around the track
wind bustles as they fly pass.
Standing by the fence
bare skin feel's the embrace.
Squeeze your eyes open
try to catch a glimpse
just a blurr as they go fast

Premium Member Haiku - Seasons
winter releases
her hold so reluctantly
as cold leaves the land

spring bustles on in
tender buds burst into life
clothing all in green

summer days hotly
stir breeze of aromatic
scents around garden

Autumn slowly drifts
in, lush ripened harvest
fills barns to roof top...

The Late
In a humming white room
mother was up late but unresponsive.
Her face and body hooked into tubes,
We stood around whispering inanities
not listening to our words
just the gasping sounds
of the life support machinery.
A young nurse bustles in:
"Maybe tomorrow
Doctor says it's touch and go."

The next morning it was go
and we were late....

Premium Member Dog, It's Snowing
Little dog, firmly standing your ground
at the back door
no, you won't budge
not one pound of your nine
you will not near the cold snowy bank of the yard
shivering at just the thought
with chills blowing past the doorway, rattling down your warm hall

Big dog bustles by
and in one leap
is snowbound and smiling
no way to get him back inside....

Premium Member Windchimes
For the first time in weeks
we wake up to cooler air
and the sound of the windchimes
from the breeze swishing there.

They've been quiet too long
in this heat wave we've had.
No wind. No windchimes.
Making mornings quite sad.

But today is different,
as the breeze bustles by
and I listen to windchimes
sing their song to the sky.

Premium Member A Period So Pink
Fresh to the world, nothing to think
having all rights to be catered for
with everything to drink
all goodies for it, in one link
and at it love and care constantly wink.
Enjoying a period so pink
lots of affectionate waters without a stink
with many shoulders beneath in case of a sink.
Life’s bustles only watch and blink
b’cos this little one isn’t yet ready
not even in sight of its brink...

Premium Member Madcap Victorian Horsewomen
Those madcap Victorian horsewomen were super confident
Silly when you realize they were riding at breakneck speeds, sidesaddle
In those day a woman did not know it was okay to wear pants.
The closest thing she could be caught alive in would be pantaloons.
I am staring at the screen years later, wondering ….
Do they break their tailbones when they fall off?
Or do their bustles serve as a landing pillow?...

Premium Member Pain
Sad story stains
Spread sensuous strain

Nude naughty name
Burdens brisk blame

Such squeaky sounds
Proud pleasure pounds

Glimpse grumpy gain
Pride plunders pain

Leeching last light
Niche nasty night

Rich rapture ripe
Proud pleasures pipe

Such sad surprise
Pain pickles prize

Huge hate hustles
Big blaze bustles

End echoes etch
Sticky smudge sketch

Cyber Date
She spins erotic prayers that he tattoos
onto his libido.

She clutches
at this man plucked from the void,
prints his likeness over her breasts.

His words,
now as close as a bedtime stories
told to her flesh.

They meet at the edge of an idea.

Motel doors slam. Daylight bustles
through echoing corridors.
From each side of twin lamps
there are tongue-tied, tangled sheets.

Their cyber words
have now turned to bats in the sun....
