Burdening

When one is pushed far away, When one is given up on
a stone is set deep in the heart, and it grieves me deeply
to watch as she walks with burden, please lighten her soul

Premium Member He Does Not Burden Others

He has more problems than most.
But he keeps them to himself.
Sharing slivers and snippets
Never divulging the whole picture.
Never burdening others with it.
It might kill us
Or at least
Make us
Sad.

Premium Member An Unnamed Bird

A
large bird
is sitting
on my shoulders.
It likes to lean left,
sometimes pressing its claws,
which burn like small pricks of heat,
all across my back. I must learn
the name of this burdening creature,
and most importantly. . . how to kill it.

Premium Member She Hides Her Truth

She hides her truth
she uplifts them all
showing them a loving nature
compassion parades into their lives
thanks to what she has suffered
she hides her truth
burdening no one
until she cannot take it any longer
suicide seems to be the only way
shocking them all

Premium Member Boxing Myself Into a Corner

Exhausting all channels of possibilities
All the wrong resources,

Worrying which never helps.
Burdening Others
None of whom can help in any possible way.

Because you
Are not brave enough
To talk to the only person who can help?

I did not think I would ever do this again, but unfortunately I have.

Holding tight to this confession;
Love is a poison, maddening;
Soft words ignite like a matchstick,
my cocoon explodes in wildfire;

Exhale now your heart’s expression;
Gravity’s heavy;  burdening;
The weight of a smile’s hard to kick;
Sticky situation is dire;

You are so right now I’m homesick;
Lifted, baby take me higher.

Fiery Gaze Feigns - Day 13

oozing feelings fostered
burdening bounty blunder
eerie emotions scribbled
as dark dribbles
over felon fallacy
seeped'n smirking beauty

fiery gaze feigns
turbulent torrent's trance;
wielded worn waves

emotions daring damp
strained soapy trance
saucy feelings spanked

mushy surges melt
hasty hankering crept.

Premium Member Mending Attitude

Life, already, is difficult and short,
with pain dealt by the hands of others,
as in relentless judgment they hold court.
I've had enough from my sisters and brothers -
without burdening myself with blame
for times that I have hurt relatives and friends,
or myself, with decisions I have made.
No more will I live in regret and shame
but adopt an attitude that mends.
I have already overpaid.

Drowning

Exhausted with stress
Feeling the burdening weight
The sudden longing to decompress
Realizing his tired state

Unable to continue
Acknowledging the weakness
He struggled and knew
Sinking into the darkness

Gasping for air
Reaching for help
Letting his last breath be a prayer
No longer would he yelp

The waters consumed him
Others did their best
But he couldn’t swim
Now his body will rest

Where  is here?
I feel their emotions burdening the ATMOSPHERE.
I am spinning in it.
Thicker than mud.
Was it BRICK COSTUD?
What were the emotions of the people surrounding me?
Some were in heated denial.
Who else would suppress a smile?
BAM!!  DAMN!!
Noxious city air as day fades away to night.
People making casual friends and laughing at
Half FUNNY  jokes.
Where are the finer things in life?

Premium Member Horror of War Injures Us

Bombed out of our comfort but the children do not see
Keep it from our sweet babies, so they will be on track.
Despondent, bereft, discouraged, my husband and me.
Wisdom prevents us from burdening our child’s back.
Horror of war injures us, the simple every day masses.
Accepted by whom? The untouchable richest of classes.

Past Hauntings

Past memories
Trying to get back to you
Traveling through the time portals of your heart
Trying to create the damage
They know they can create
Burdening you
With their continuous weight
They creep into your bedroom at night
Crawl inside your head
Turn your dreams
Into nightmares instead
No those past memories
Turn themselves into past hauntings
That haunt and torture you here in the present
