trials test virtues’ might
values’ fortitude
skills’ expertise
talents’ worth
for God...

When contest rules do stifle your life
not bringing out your very best
but nurturing the beast’s guts
with self-glorying bouts
midst spiritual angst
burdening soul
breaking heart,
Trust God…
