I am no body
husk of maiden, shell of she
smiling Buddha cheeked
children crawl from crossed legs
poetry flies from my hands
Turnabout
I sat there
mocking the Buddha
contemplating
………his navel

A lone bridge across
the pond reclines like Buddha
in this serene wood.

Can love be against the Buddha nature?
Can we let Buddha stand in the way of living?
Or can all complications be reconciled into
One?
We thought
We are ours
Until life said
We aren't ours, are we?
Shall we
Commemorate
Our
Realization
Into
Buddha effect... ?
“soulstice”
a shivering Buddha sits, a stoic silence .. “soulstice”.

touch football
the far goal is
Buddha
I am not advocating disrespect for anyone's
religion, just reporting life as I see it
oh great Buddha cat
empower me with magic
for I seek new meat
grant this servant a shuttle
i wish to try stellar fish.
A gnome pays homage
to a Buddha
shadows touching
a silent warmth
separating
or joining them
in a meditative
sunset.

rainy day
an old man dries the face
of Buddha
I am not advocating disrespect for anyone's
religion, just reporting life as I see it
a song
without the lyrics
and the flute
and the scenery
of the elusive countryside
arises out of a silent resonance
spreading the waves of joy
within
It is very nice to think of love
The world is full of love and unbroken hearts,
with girl saying a love
and boy happily to date
In every Buddha land of peace
short rain
why should I not dry
the face of Buddha
I am not advocating disrespect for anyone's
religion, just reporting life as I see it
Pom Tiddley Om Pom
Buddha says to me
Pom Tiddley Om Pom
He flips me in a tree
Pom Tiddley Om Pom
I get stung by a bee
Pom Tiddley Om Pom
So meditatively.
Buddha cast in bronze
--- heaped high w/ new-fallen snow ---
smiles unfazed, dwindles
cross-legged in the garden
under the sky's vast length, breadth.
stop for chit chat
a pepsi crowns the head
of Buddha
I am not advocating disrespect for anyone's
religion, just reporting life as I see it
They’re about you! They’re
about Jessie! They’re about Jesse!
They’re about Buddha!
They’re about you, too!
So, complete the final line!

suddenly the face of buddha

Buddha appeared to me in the surf today
was it a warning or an invitation?
Unsure, I allowed myself to meditate
knowing whatever I discovered
was meant for me alone
he who stands closer to the source
teaches without employing force
since he’s not in separation
therefore there’s no thought serration
in his evocative discourse
Dear Dad
The foods that I left
In the altar that I wish
You reborn to another life
With my prayer to Buddha
To you my fullest love
You live in my mind forever and always
Right and wrong are different,
All the rights are not rights,
All the wrongs are not wrongs,
Doing a wrong right,
Not wrong,
Lord Buddha and Gandhi,
Came right doing wrong!
A Chinese opera singer named Chow Ling
Had a voice that would set dogs to howling.
Her high C, it was said,
Could awaken the dead,
And turn Buddha from laughing to scowling.
