So when I think of thirst,
An ice-cold frothy-headed beer
Is what I think of first!...

with no regard to make the change
too much effort to rearrange
you few, yet, the majority
who stand alone, accordingly...
but never seems to bridge the gap
between what seems and is, in fact
and make the change in life made real

So, why, I wonder, is it our plight 
to harm ourselves and our brothers. 

How do we ever bridge the gap
between what we know and what we do?
Is there a guide or a map,
to show the pathway to pursue?  

Meditation, faith, what is it
that bestows what our ideal owns?
So, our actions show we know it, 
not in our brains, but in our bones....

Sharing a cup of coffee 
and looking at our child losing herself,
in her imaginary kingdom of lawn,

Simple touching and the heat of the sun 
discourage further duties,
