Little Blue Pill

break-ups are good for
pharmaceutical companies
swallow a pill
take the edge off
angst soon blurs
into blissful
apathy

Premium Member Claustrophobia

Someone broke my best friend’s heart.
They’d been together throughout the entire lock-down.
And even though it looks like we’re entering a freer time,
he said it felt like she’d become part of the claustrophobia.

Explanations can snag on nerves like fishhooks.

You and I Forever

I don't know
On what to do
With heart
Barely intact
Too much wound to sew
I miss you
Sadly
I need you
Badly
Come to me
And hug me
Hold me tight my dear
Please wipe away your tears
You
And I forever

For Norah

You shiver my ora
With brightness that skins
your colors love
Excitement to write and fight
Betrayal and break ups
I never dream of might
You fiddle and blush my dimples
Shorten my nights
see the sun gaze upon your face
Like a maize runner
I always scotch in your eyes
Like a w
I always feel your love twice

Fifty Ways

Paul says there are fifty ways
but he only writes about six
where are the other forty-four
I may need them quick

fifty ways to leave a lover
was written in seventy-five
how about phone or text break-ups
they're easier to contrive

there just isn't a good way
to leave or to be left
one heart always hurting
till a new love is met

True Friends

You are there
through thick and thin
I have been there for you
we have been through too much
pain
break-ups
and more
when I need someone to talk to
you come running
I cry
then you cry
we make it together
when I tried taking my life
you took me to the hospital
you have been there for me
I appreciate it
very much
I want to say
your a true friend
and I love you.

Hate

From love and lust to break ups and busts,
To sparkling eyes to welled up with weak cries,
To hanging on every word, to not daring to speak for not being heard.
I cant hold on because I have no grip, there’s only loose words upon my lip.

You’ve lost all hope, all glory and power, you’ve changed towards me, changed to sour.
You’re paranoid and insecure, you’ve got a problem for which there is no cure.

Crash

we board on separate tarmacs
for this flight to love's sweet haven
in our needing, love not fleeting
we get what we are craving

but somewhere over the mountains
during our span of glorious days
turbulence shakes our foundation
in just too many ways

this flight that took off smoothly
and all those break-ups that we cheated
we would have continued unscathed, if only
my heart hadn't crashed at your feet

I Refuse

I thought that maybe
We could work things out
But I refuse to be let down
It always seems as if my feelings don’t matter
This can’t be ignored anymore
I never thought that I would be letting you go
But I refuse to let you hurt me anymore
I am tired of the make ups and break ups
It would be so much easier if you really loved me
I know there were times when we could have stop this
But I refuse to let this go on any longer

Fragile

I know we had downs
But we also had ups
Do I regret this
Do I wanna forget it all?

Right now I can’t tell
I do wanna say
I appreciate that
You stuck through this

Staying by my side
Even when I got ugly
And drove our relationship
Into the dirt

I’m glad we got out
We didn’t get caught
In the explosion
This shipwreck had

If we can’t fix
What’s broken
Let’s just leave it
As is, cause

I wanna appreciate
What we had left

REDEMPTION

Every tribe, a savior
That's why we have
Different religion
Every person, a choice
That's why everyone
Has who they endowed.

Every time or season
Someone is risen
Base on some reasons
To liberate his or her people
So they don't live in bondages
Suffering from past ancestral mistakes.

If you don't wake up
You'll always initiate
Break ups
Because some misunderstanding
Are made to make up
Without discord
Unless you're not fully involved.

A Letter For You

I'll never figure out why
I'm always stuck in my
own misery the twist is
it's became comfortable
for me to accept my
loneliness there's always
those short lived glimmers
of false hopes that lead to
drunken break ups my heart
has only ever beaten for
one but I'm not her only
it came to me as a surprise
a few years have past us
by I still write you these notes
hoping one day you'll find it
and you'll always know I have
only loved you and no one else

Jealousy

I don’t wanna lose myself
To something so trivial
I just want something
That I’ve been missing

I don’t know what
The missing piece is
You had it and you’re gone
Can you return it back

I’m tired
Too tired of
Getting upset
Cause you left

I’d destroy everything
Just to find you again
But you’re not
Worth everything

You decided to leave
And I can’t force you
To comeback to me
It wouldn’t be right

I’ll start all over
So I can find myself
