The Fire-Crackle
the man lit a fire crackle then ran
not knowing it was still in his hand
there was a loud ka-boom
he knew, he was doom
came out, looking like the boogeyman...

Children stay awake
Feeling that evil monster
Kidnap from bedroom
Far away from family
Dreaded nocturnal nightmare

Dignity In Humanity
Humanity took the last boat
The last one way ticket
On the last wooden ship with sails
Yes
Humanity left in style
If it was today
But that boat now
Sails the seabed

Humanity is like the
Boogeyman or Davy Jones locker
Bedtime stories to your children
A world full of magical creatures
And fairytale endings
Humanity is but a story...

The Boogeyman
Walking through portraitures discordant
Nightmare acutations better part of singulars
Far too long ? Enunciating endogenous skeletons
Less proxy amid the harrowing graveyard of their bones ?
Decaying biosphere chambers these tales in secrets
They have never told ? Slumber gathering beyound his iron
Gates atop the sepulchers betwixt gray stones ? Virtual..
Tombs marking time that screams and all her blood is not my own....

Halloween Night
The moon is bright
In this humble sky tonight
Little boys and girls sleep peacefully
But parents are up smiling meek-fully
A gentle kiss to all who never tell at night
For those who all use the shadows light
Will a boogeyman come out to play
Or will the monster inside you come out today
Creatures who play at night
Will give the weaker people a fright
So little boys and girls and play
During the night, in your bed you better say...

Maybe If . . .
maybe if you . . .
found boogeyman faces in sailing skies –
splashed in every single mud puddle anyway –
     cried during Hallmark commercials –

maybe if you . . .
ever marveled at the creativity of every cockamamy excuse
            you ever heard –
died just a little when one more day passed without –
sat in the sand until incoming tide knocked you over . . .

maybe . . .

you might find me....

Premium Member Hypodermic Illusions
Pine needles fall on manicured lawns
on quiet streets where elm trees grow
But in their midst a demon yawns
And screams through veins from which it flows

 Hypodermic illusions line the curb
where cars are parlors for getting high
 Overdosing in the suburbs
The inner city has no alibi

 A nightmare on elm street
and Freddy Kruger is nowhere in sight!
But the boogeyman does not retreat....
yet some will not awaken from the night!...

Silence
We feel uncomfortable when we are alone,
not because you watched "Boogeyman"
last night, or a stalker is on the prawl. Not
because you are in a quiet room
or closed space....

It's because there's something in being alone,
seeing your own reflection of who you are
when no one is watching. It is quiet an
unsettling, devastating feeling.... An interview
with your own true self.

The mirror that shows who we are only appears
when we are in silence.......

Never Say Boogeyman
"Don’t fuss anymore, just sleep tight
Boogeyman will hear and lug you away
stuffed in his hideous, grey, musty sac",
she warned her little boy every night.

Boogeyman “Cancer” made no sound
just crept in silently as she slept
into her child’s room and blood
stole him from Earth’s playground.

Don’t ever please say Boogeyman
she lifelong urged all moms
what you say may come alive
‘coz Gods hear only when they can!
