Epic, Nette. Loving this kind of writing....particularly this unique line: "Your ghastly trace of darkness maims my bones"...love it! Sure this one'll impress, my friend. Definitely worth more than an old tin cup of course. ;) Always, Laura

Your poem would touch any compassionate heart Nette. I can't stand to see people suffer and and help when I can. A heartwrenching look at how it really is sadly. I hope this does great in the contest. ; )

"do you know how hard it is to sleep in the rain" or sit in the heat where the concrete cracks and watch the world pass by with no place to go...sorry my friend I couldn't help myself..as the picture you painted became real to me..good luck in the contest
