Delight
The earth opens her sexually
As I'm revealing myself throughout
	Her boldest freedom underneath the moonlight!...

Toaster Bed
Toaster Bed
I’d like to buy a toaster bed,
of the boldest red.

Happily,
it would heat me up toasty hot
and butter my backside,
before projecting me out
of the bed and into the shower,
at a designated hour
each morning.

Where shall I place my order?
Bloomingdale’s
Or Neiman’s?...

Premium Member Untamed Rondine
Untamed we roam throughout the night
painting that sky just like Van Gogh;
Carving with scratch, hustle, and flow
the boldest black we aren’t polite;
A moonlit chorus we recite
entrance announced with a bellow
untamed we roam;
Our tenacity shines so bright
encompassing a nighttime glow;
We set off the stars heel to toe
just begging to get in a fight;
Untamed we roam....

Tulips
Pretty rows of Tulips standing straight and tall
Sipping morning dew drops by the garden wall
You look like lovely ladies gathered for a chat
Each displaying her boldest colored Sunday hat
Oh lovely ladies... tell me what your secrets are
Who made you glow like a stunning movie star
Bathed with the fresh cool rains of early spring
Your fragrance makes all of God's Angels sing...

Summer's Relief
the heat of summer dripped down my spine
and tears dried in my eyes,
the sun was harsh and so was life
a lesson learned in time.
the leaves turned the boldest colors
and in one final sweep
summer's sorrow was blown away
and winter came to sleep.
an icy breath blew through my lungs
and once again i felt anew,
for it reminded me of winters past
and that a balance still rang true....

Premium Member Daylilies
Listen to poem:
Tall and proud
Daylilies
Wrinkled
Discolored
Disheveled
Past their prime
Deprived of warmth and sunrays
Survived cruel dips in weather
Braving long cold nights
Rebellious to fall’s arrival
Flaunting boldest efforts
Stubborn to impress
Express last splash of splendor
Hanging so desperately
To the vestige of their youth

Sorry Mom
Most graffiti I have seen
Consists of tags or pictures.
Messages are therefore not
The commonest of fixtures.

Yet today, upon a wall
Not used to spray-paint inking,
Was “Sorry Mom” in boldest red,
Which really got me thinking.

Was it sarcastic or sincere?
Was guilt the motivation?
And would that mother ever see
Her child’s capitulation?

We can’t know what was in the mind
Of who scrawled out each letter,
But I am sure a phone call
Would convey that thought much better....
