Within

Deep inside the soul
the inner relm of the mind
empty dark and cold
darkness black as night
hallow and alone
no one else in sight
Form: Epic

A Black Rose

a rose as black as night
a rose of pain
a rose of love
the pain from being without you
the love from being near you
this is my way of saying i love you

A Noon Out

we walk through out the door
for a new sight
sees the view of a blue light
shines as black as night sky
walks together as we go
at the noon out
of our moon

The Night Sky

Black as night
Whie as Light
Keeps the earth in sight
Darkness keeps the outer planet near
But to the rear
Are three till
You reach the light
But then it's night

Cuts

Another line
Red
Angry
Deep
Again and again
More red lines
White slowly stained red
Drip
Drip
Drip
The color almost black as night
A final breath
Good night

24

Actions, fluid as air
Color, black as night
Eyes as bright as a full moons silver sea
Slinking throught the shadows
Untouched by time
An age old idol
In witch's lore

Luna

Black as night but bright as the moon,
Oh sweet angel, God took you too soon.
You brightened my day; you lit up my night,
And even in the heavens, you’ll be my guiding light.

Vestige

THE TIDE CAME IN
SWIFT AND FURIOUS
BESIDE US
THE OCEAN
CARRIED YOU AWAY
A WAVE OF SADNESS
THE MOON
PULLING YOU FURTHER
BLACK AS NIGHT
COVERED IN ASH
YOU LEFT WITH MY HEART
THIS TIME
THERE IS NO TURNING BACK.

Dont Think It

Cant speak
Not a sound
A gasp
A scream
A squeal
Don't think it
Get the thought out of your mind
No memory
No reflexes
No vision
No breath
Are you alive
Are you Entranced
You wont ever know
Its black as night

On a grave two birds alight;
Ravens both, black as night.
To a tell-tale heart no longer beating,
"Nevermore" they keep repeating.
The demons claim the body below;
For here lies Edgar Allan Poe.

Smooth Voice

Smooth voice; and rolling tongue with words like the fog.
Sweet melody caresses my ears,
Every time her lip whispers a tune.
It’s old,
It’s new but so good.
O sweet Melody wont you sing for me once more,
And chip away at this heart that is as black as night.

The Craven Raven

To speak the words of famous lore
He backs away forevermore
For he’s afraid to quote the words
He dares not say them, “Never more”

So timid, he, he trembles true
Though black as night, his heart is blue
He dare not draw attentions light
To hide in shade, he means to do

To You, I Promise

Black as night,
Darkest day,
I dream of you,
As though you may.

I wish to Heaven,
That you were here,
By my side,
And always near.

White as day,
Brightest night,
I please hope,
That we never fight.

To you this day,
I promise my heart,
And from now on,
I hope to never part.

The Abyss

soulless
empty
darkness
vast as the ocean
heartless
numb
loneliness
deep as a canyon
pain and despair
gnawing at me
sadness overtakes my emotion
no more happiness
no more joy
black as night on my heart
thick and heavy in my chest
like a river raging out of control
slowly the agony
begins to take its toll

Darkness

Darkness

Black as night
Dark in time
With no light
Can be sublime
To those who
Like the dark
Those who do
Like to hark
That dark is bad
Don’t know enough
To judge, which is sad
And though their ideals are tough
They don’t know what good there is
So all they see is darkness, as it tis

The Crow

The Crow
                              by Frank Halliwell..

He's cursed by men from sea to sea,
He's hunted and exiled.
He's hated by most everyone,
And everywhere, reviled.
His morals are not those of men,
Nor will our wishes change him,
He's bold as brass! - He's black as night!
He's just as his god made him.

Forbidden Love

Eyes as black as night,
Hands as cold as ice.
     A soul damned to hell,
In love but, how.

     She is beautiful and warm,
Soft and Fragile.
If only she could have him,
Longing for just one touch.

     He will die for her,
She for him.
To give her life for her love,
With out question.

In the end they are forbidden!!

Pulling the Wool Over Mamma's Eyes Mamma's eyes were as big as the moon and a nose like a hound When her children sins were black as night The hound lost its scent and she became blind as bat They could pull the wool over her eyes as easy as pie

I Sat,,,

I sat… still as a cold stone wall

I was there

In the golden woods

A world of the unknown.

 I sat…

With my gun as black as night

As a graceful tawny doe ran by

I sat…

As I shot it

It flinched and its spirit fled

So I sat…

On the warm golden forest floor

And cried.

This is my first poem!! Please, tell me what you think.

Found By the Lost

The world of ice,
in perfect white,
tainted blood,
as black as night,
the love of lost,
on end of chain,
the shoeless freak,
out in the rain,
the homeless child,
lost in fright,
sleeps by day,
runs by night,
always forward,
never back,
the heartless Psycho,
the bodies stack,
the dark and red,
on silver blade,
you now lay in,
the bed you made.

Black As Night

Listen to poem:
Superstition sizzles;
Black cat on the prowl
Shutters swiftly close as
Wind begins to howl.

Padding down the alley
At the dead of night
Slinking round the corner
Poised to give a fright.

Blending into darkness
But for emerald eyes
Black cat wears the perfect
Halloween disguise.

Vampire of My Dreams

your kiss goes deeper than skin
your stare makes me crawl with sin

your hair is as black as night
but the night is far brighter

the nights nearly over
when we depart my life's over

the sun started rising
your skin started burning

your is turning to ash
my love is starting to crash

i wake to find that i was just dreaming
until i find my love my heart will be dieing

Porcelain Midnight

Indebted to defining darkness
a fortress of pained souls crying a chorus
fearless and bonded by religious rites
reviving the dada movement fueled by absinthe
driven by inertia in absentia calling forth
dementia dripping with sorrow
and steeped in anxiety to say nothing at all
as smooth as glass pitch black as night
my self loathing pity is as to death
as porcelain is to midnight

Betrayal

Heart black as night
A soul light as day,
Eyes blue as the bay.

Death is one
Life is two,
I need you.

Heart white as snow
A soul pale as can be.
Eyes green as the leaves on a tree.

Quietus for me,
Sentience for us.
Do you love me?

Wrong instead of right
Our love ends today
And so now it will decay.

Death for me,
Life for you
You betrayed me.

Leave me be.
Go on with your life.
Good-bye.
