There Is a Fence In My Bed

A 38th parallel separates our pillows
I try to touch her and she bellows
We are like strangers in our own bed
Help me break the Berlin wall in my bed

My Wall of Berlin

I wish I could tear
down the walls between us, but
everytime I
manage to break some bricks I
need to realize that you
are the one who makes new ones.

Freedom's Perfect Recipe

we will be free

humanity is learning

at superspeed

the fall of the berlin wall

together with smartphones and facebook

free trade agreements

and crushing crisis

perfect recipe

for freedom.

Soprano

A free-spirited soprano from Berlin,
Would delight in drinking a bottle of gin,
She would then test her voice
      With her highest note choice
And try to shatter the bottle it was in.

It's Still There

DO YO WANT TO SEE
an imaginary line

HOVER IN THE STRATOSPHERE
above the once divided city

OF BERLIN AND SEE FOR YOURSELF
incandescent in what was once the East

HALOGEN OR EVEN NOW
LED IN THE WEST

Premium Member How the Money Rolls In Ii

(To the tune of My Bonnie Lies Over The Ocean)

For six thousand bucks, O'Dewey and Cheetum
Will have your book sold from Leeds to Berlin
They've closed shop and now party in Vegas
Lord, how the money rolls in!

Premium Member Definitely Not Rummy

There was a young chap from Berlin
Who stressed lack of sleep was a sin
He would get out of bed
On condition, he said,
That breakfast included dry gin.

The Startled Flight

"J'adore le genre de personne d'avoir
 une maison pleine de canines!

Vouloir glissent sur les nuages
 en Berlin!

Pour les nuages me guidera -
 vers un nouveau chemin!

Les Montagnes et les vol qui
 me guide...

Les nuages et le vol qui
 me guide..."
Form: Epic

Her

I want to taste her.
Not anyone specifically,
I just crave to know
what it all could really mean.
I would fall for her. Knock down these Berlin sized walls I have up. But my world sucks because Her is just a figurative way of discribing something that may never come.

Larks Fall

A lark smiles and chats
With sunrays in Ankara
Hunter shoots it dead

Vengeance in a truck
Mows down people in Berlin
In Christmas shopping

Pain in pink ribbons
Thorns in vengeful souls stubborn
Sun and moon look on

Premium Member reindeer fly a new hybrid

Biologists and zoologists from Tokyo to Berlin worked on a new hybrid.
Unaware she was unique to the world, reindeerfly zoomed in the night sky.
Her hooves were sharply pointed, her wings were delicate said Fred.
Botanists and chemists were in awe, in disbelief as we saw her fly by.

Grosse Hamburger Strasse

While I clung on the
memory of yours, while I
waited for your noise

to make I was stopped
by the motionless on the
Grosse Hamburger Strasse.

Berlin became my
second skin and I happened
to turn into a

pale improbable
heartmark on its murky and
woe-coloured pavement.

Fernsehturm In Berlin

On the sky's hummock
she is like a ziggurat;
a gardener of

stars who takes care of
their shining watching over
their sparkling glimpses.

My only hope that
maybe she intend to look
after our little

and unfortunate
star too. The dim one under
whom our love was born to beam.

We met on a blind date oh so many years ago You wanted to get to know me I said lets take it slow But one thing lead to another and we enjoyed a night of sin We ended up making love all the night ... instead of drinking coffee in the cafés of Berlin 10th January 2016

In Berlin

In Berlin, like dust
we arrive riding on grim
winds and then, when our

feet touch the ground,
our shadows become one with
the dancing shades of

Alexanderplatz
on a stormy Monday Eve
we, at last, gather

our shattered pieces
to make ourselves whole again.
For in Berlin, we find peace.

Der Flug Nach Deutschland

Boston is for leaving.
Torgau is for brothers
Weimar is for mourners.
Dresden is for lovers.

Leipzig is for players.
Meissen is for Sisyphus.
Frankfurt is for patience.
Berlin is for the two of us.

Ride the bus down,
board the flight across the earth.
fly "der Flug nach Deutschland"
and hold on for what it's worth.

Bistro Boheme - a French poetry band that sets old classics into song

How does it sound when Rimbaud rocks and Baudelaire has got the Blues?
When Verlaine vibes to the beat and Apollinaire to arpeggios?
Bistro Bohème tries to answer these questions!
We are a French poetry band, all living together in the same Berlin flatshare.

Please check us out on Spotify or YouTube :)

Love,
Bistro Bohème

Life

When there is a dawn,
There is night owl falling into a hole of fantasy.
They don't stop to take a sip.

When there is a sunset,
There is a traveler wanting to catch the sun.
They don't stop to take a dip.

Life has its beginnings and its ends,
But I rather chase life,
Instead of drinking coffee in the cafés of Berlin.

In Peace With Nature

i sit alone in peace with nature instead of eating the pastries of paris i sit alone in peace with nature instead of eating sweets on the streets of bologna i sit alone in peace with nature as i find it more tranquil and peaceful i sit alone in peace with nature instead of drinking coffee in the cafès of Berlin

Premium Member Gilded Cages

locked by tyranny
mocked by the masses
little children
little Jews
silver teeth
take away their shoes
the statue you see
is fake
Trumpets hide not
the fading of liberty

The kindest of souls
is ok
shout

above the showers

Early Morning Harmony

Danced with
Conceived and born
Sung to and nursed
On a downy soft quilt

Transfused with
Vibrations of Ellington
Basie, Crosby, Waller
Goodman and Armstrong

Skyrocketed spiritually
By Kern and Carmichael
Porter, Gershwin and Berlin

Thanks Mom and Dad
For the beautiful music
We made together
On that bed of downy softness
