Jupiter Above Venus
June, the month of Jupiter, aligned above Venus,
destined to collide by sight;

The space between the two behemoths, the
gas the light.

Jupiter above venus, in the night....

Premium Member Bull Sharks and Pliocene Dreams
In river tombs, patrolled by bull shark sentries,
sifting through the heartbeat of centuries
for fossilized teeth of terrifying behemoths
who never laid eyes on the many faces of man
would have devoured him if given the chance
a mineralized tooth and homo sapien hand
meeting where oceans and rivers dance
in the silt of Pliocene dreams....

Sunset Over a Mountain Top
Watch that great, hot, metal disk spin on the burning horizon.
It bellows waves of undulating bronze
pouring brilliance over rolling hilltops below.
Its dazzling glare gives way to long, dark shadows,
cast by a myriad of towering green behemoths
gathering together beneath that metallic sky.
In stillness, they discuss the earth's darkest secrets....

Premium Member The Nectar of God
While mayhem reigns over the centuries
the endless wars and suffering
snakes eating their own tails
buzzards pouncing on bloated babies
endless cycles of conquest and oppression.
A few behemoths stomping on a million minions
God why are you not stripping them of their glass boots.
Why are you not uniting the meek
where is our inheritance.

Premium Member Serenade
The melody of delight
extricate themselves
from the practicality of life

You glisten, beam
with excitement
as days of reckoning

blindly pass through
ecstasy clouded by
persistent turmoils

surrounding perpetuity,
utilizing deliverance.
Daily drills bring pleasures

that linger throughout brilliance
as dazzling behemoths
try to replicate

serenity's musical escapades
that bounce around and
reluctantly espouse

sounds drifting into
minds exuberance....

Premium Member Up Through
Through the gray mist of the city
black petals push up toward the sky...
like a schooner sniffing for lost booty
behemoths breeching for the moonlight.

Some make it to the sweetened shore
the air sprinkled with chipped gems
others cling to the driftwood of hope
just to be nudged, then bitten in half.

This lantern makes no promises of happiness
the thinning pride crouches in desperate prayer
the fates may favor the lucky or the blessed
but damn the faithless to the sated lair....
