wipe sleep from my eyes
a cup of coffee on the savana
let the good times roll

Morning hoofs a trail of smoke,
Horsepower for modern folk,
With eyes slightly open for pay.
Watch others dive in, do backstroke.
How do you define heaven?
Locked up in a cabin with fireplace.
Party foods on a tray.

And if I said
Let’s begin again
Would it be too much
To be redone
Or would I be stuck
In those few days
Soon after we
Had begun
its here foot ball
no more water fall
have a grim
some at the end
new season begin
play the game a win
iat the fall wall
ITS THE SUMMER END FALL BEGIN
Sometimes when I approach the pen
I wonder what will come and then
My heart begins to re-engage
And words begin to fill the page
lacy ruffled gladiola with your dainty ways
made of a gorgeous pleated crepe, you take my breath away
describing you would be a win,
where to begin? Where to begin?
who's to say
who knows the way
who chose today
who's will is to stay
who'll keep temptation away
who's opinion won't sway
who's moment can't delay
it's me
hooray

Begin and Then Gave In
Never was ever sure where to begin;
And all I do remember is when I then;
Intend;
My end;
Finally would die after I had given in.
Jim Horn
it's the
start of
the end
the gun
has gone
off but
the runners
have not
so
it seems
a new beginning
for the not running
sport of sorts
has made
history

Magicicada13 Words To Live By Poetry Contest
Maureen McGreavy, Sponsor
Life, as it were, is withering away,
Like the stars dimming, like pedals falling,
Thee is like a travisty of the mind,
A ponder thee in the sea of madness
Will life end, only to begin again?
Ran the gambit,
pleasured myself and others.
took my heart off the shelf,
Felt everything but smothered.
moving on and away,
Where everyday will lead,
Hooray!!!
no clue,
but it's to soon to tell?
The smell of burnt wood,
Broken twigs and cracked branches
Surrender to this hallow ground
When the lightening comes,
Before the storm
Then, fire uplifts us
From this ground
So, where does love begin
Puerto Rican girl
thin, thin,
let street lights pour
bourbon on your hair,
anise on your skin.
Puerto Rican girl,
thin, thin,
gin one white smile for me.
Let tambourines begin

… a reason to get up
in the morning
… open to every spirit
on the wind
… praying for one more
chance encounter
… ending, where I can
again begin
(Villanova Pennsylvania: May, 2017)
There isn't anything too late, if you love it.
Love doesn't solve everything,
and it isn't the only thing that's important,
but it has a big head start on everything else.
If there's love, there's a place to begin.

Where Dreams Begin
Grand be the end of rainbows, wherein, nature and we appease,
By and by, we'd dressed their colors, bathing yond eternity.

A new life has started
I have stopped being a martyr
If you wanna know
what's my selfcontrol
or what are my thoughts
You will be given here lots
And in the end- please do enjoy
Because the word is my favourite toy!
i woke
up
i tried
to put
pants
on but
it was
uncomfortable
a cummerbund
was even
dumber
and i
kept
thinking of
a cucumber
i laid back
down
but was
still awake
i'll try to
sleep
but i'm
still
up

Begin Again Without Any Sin
Certain things happen when we give up and give in,
Especially when there is not any room at the inn;
For those who care,
God is always there,
Letting lives begin over again without any sin.
Jim Horn
Begin Thin Again
Seems like where we want to begin,
Is with our beautiful body being thin;
A new diet,
Better try it;
Some people do it again and again.
Diets are habit forming. Which one
do you want to be on next.
Jim Horn
There is friendship after love
There is sincerity after love
There is tenderness after love
There is such thing as after love
There is such thing as love
Don't walk away without looking back
Towards new hope, new action to begin with.
