a sharp two-edge blade
cuts too quick for pound of flesh-
sly parry of wit
leaves assailant floundering
for razor sharp comeback slice
scraping by
picking my youth
out from under my nails
the trace remains
of an assailant or two
on the page
make sense of symmetry
when arranged
just so

no answer here
no answer there
and everywhere
freedom of speech nowhere!
cause- assailant appears as safer
animation beyond struggle air
and poor peoples ask deaf ear

This mordant assignment
Is my nemesis with physical insult-
My venerated assailant
Famed for making life difficult!

Oppressed and suppressed
Facing hate speech
Rude snarky remarks
Unsympathetic sympathies
Bully laughs
Bizarre comments
Negative feedback.

Stop meddling and mind your own business.
Gone into the night,
She stood to a fight,
She wrestled the assailant,
Who was prevalent
on people of her age and time,
All she gave with not much a dime,
She fell into his hand,
And went to forever land.

Hummingbird hovers,
sailing nectar assailant.
He floats, feather-hum.
Rock Hard was a big bad bully
For a bully he was the worst
He'd punch someone out just for fun
Then one day he got punched out first
One punch and Rock was out like a light
He woke up and started to stammer
"Just who are are are you", he asked
His assailant said, "I'm Jack Hammer"
my chest has been exploding for years,
no rhythm, the offbeat
heart thrums—
the eyes harp ocean water charged
faux tears.
Who is this assailant wearing my
face?
she has no right to feel this way,
She is not
who
I
want
to
be.
sad little nothing, begging for love—
pleading for scraps
from siblings tongues
resign, release.
Please
Nothing is not what
I am meant to be.
Beyond this door
A lush universe
A burst of awesomeness
An exotic tropical world
Where rain droplets hover
For orchid blooms high and low
A proliferation of vivid blossoms
Each unique intricate works of art
In every colour of the rainbow
Releasing tropical assailant scents
Lavish greenhouse garden
A most spiritual sanctuary
As precious as admittance to the
Creator’s private chamber
Just a taste of what heaven is like
