The Holy Array

Happy birthday, dear Daisy Mae,
Sheep worship God in proper dress;

In the temple as they confess.

Premium Member An Array of Stars

As I sat
a young man passed me
full throttle
on his way
up a hill--

above him
an array of stars;

I wondered
which he would choose
till he fell back to earth
a magnet of reality
its bloody gauss
called history…

at last to understand
why I write poetry

Red Array

G-ray clouds have gone by,
R-aindrops fade away;
E-arly dawn has broken
T-o cheer up the Sunday.
H-appy day of her birth
E-liminates the long night;
L-et twelfth February morn share the shining light.

T-he lady looks so fine
A-t the side of the white way;
G-reen grass gives freshness,
R-apture fills her red
A-rray.

With an array of foreign stamps
send me a postcard message please;
Take me through those vibrant cities!
Let me see all the rustic camps,
stories of long hikes and leg cramps;
Don't leave out forest oddities!
With an array
of antiquated outdoor lamps
brighten a dark dead of night breeze;
Show me scenery that revamps
with an array.

Mourning Dove In Fine Array

Mourning dove perched with your black and white collar.
Black eyes, ebony, slender beak accent your dull grey sheen on downey feathers.
Dressed perfectly by the creator for summer's heat or winter's blustery chill.

Reminding me of your love and protection promised a long time ago. Keep my eyes on you
dear lord and praise in my heart and tongue.

The sky an azure color, light in cast Puts its array of warm hues on a tree Tree’s beautiful in shape, surely will last The sky an azure color, light in cast Brings harmony as it shines with a blast The great tree surely isn’t quite lonely The sky an azure color, light in cast Puts its array of warm hues on a tree

Color of Array

Rushing quarreling with nature
Listening to beautiful sound
Water rushing down
Ladies by the water so
Smiling and giggling
More people rush to eat
By the meadow so
Games of laughter
Fragrance of honey
With bread that is wheat
Colors that show the month
Ladies with lover
Men with smiles
Some look so abstract
Playing games just to test
Lusting over beauty
And the day comes to an end
The best a kiss from a lady
Sweet smell of her perfume
Lasting memory of the day
