Mourning Dove In Fine Array
Mourning dove perched with your black and white collar.
Black eyes, ebony, slender beak accent your dull grey sheen on downey feathers.
Dressed perfectly by the creator for summer's heat or winter's blustery chill.
Reminding me of your love and protection promised a long time ago. Keep my eyes on you
dear lord and praise in my heart and tongue.
