A well honed
Paradox
Results in laughter
Which clears the deck
Of all of
Refined arguments
And questions...
Advice Sown
Advice can be sown
But without understanding
Arguments abound.

Short Verse
Under a sand stone
I found the unvarnished truth
Alas it was subjective
Not a gold hued axiom
A truth void of arguments

Haiku
Arguments take two,
And carelessly dispensed words;
Will always bite you.

Some Senators can get quite furious
They can even become injurious
First scratch 'n then bite
Get into 'cat-fights'
Their arguments ~ utterly spurious
What does it mean,
Family?
Surely,
It doesn't mean arguments,
Stealing,
Secrets,
Lies,
Pain.
Or maybe,
That is the meaning of family,
Well,
It is for mine.

I have yet to win a verbal spar
Or change a hard-headed opinion
A waste of energy to try, I think,
They are someone's solid minion.

did you hear about the great debater
who was also an expert ice-skater
as he most gracefully slides by
nothing but hello and goodbye
seems we will hear his arguments later
It was love that brought us together,
And was hate that drove us both apart.
Wealth banished arguments to the land of never,
Poverty brought in cold doubt with a broken heart.
small and selfish.
When someone I know dies
they own the awe.
I sit and wait
not knowing what to do.

smaller and
alone with tiny
arguments, in a miniature

The Witch’s incantations
Slowly bubbling
Acrid arguments
Denying a truce.
The Warlock’s whispers
Chortling conjecture
Snarling sentiments
Battering a peace.

Fake smile and dull face
Coward, brutal, snooty wanna race
No race, just calmness and grace
General science, philosophy and wisdom
No arguments and no fight
Mr hypocrite goodbye and goodnight.
after the romance
came boredom and arguments
then divorce papers

My wife and I sometimes have words
But I never get to use mine, so I talk to the birds
It's a little known fact
Intelligence they don't lack
And as long as I feed them, arguments we avert
''All arguments should be dealt with swiftly
With bows and arrows
You'll both see each others points
Hopefully
You'll get your point across first
End of matter.''

Away your burdens
Away your weariness
Away your blunders
Away your awaiting sins
Away your arguments
Away your wayward disobedience
Away your winnowing elements
Away your unwanted thoughts
Away and be gone
Way gone
Cold Fire
Bach over reaches
Arguments are won in dusk
Time brings to the brink
when you discover
tomorrow's sun
was blazoned in her shadow
legends crumbling
we succumb
to the languid legend
Blazing flames of wild rage
burning heart like a coal.
Bold abusive curses
boiling blood like diesel.
Blatant hot arguments
broiling brains into fumes.
Brawl ends with rued ashes!

New shingles refresh a roof,
a sagging ceiling drywalled,
a cracked window repaired,
a busted door reinstalled.
When cooler heads do prevail,
arguments can be resolved.
But words of anger and hate,
once spoken can’t be recalled…
Her touch leaves no evidence
of her passing
nor does the imperceptible tremor
of her tensioned ease
alert her prey.
Too late they feel
her closing breath
seizing theirs.

wispy arguments compelling.
a virtual certainty:
a trendspotter of fortunes!
paradise could be mine...
the clash between promise
and the pyramid reality AHH..
my husband was incandescent.
nothing could revive our loss...
Form:
Anger
Auras of crimson red,
assault my sight, my mind,
affecting perspective.
Arrogant arguments,
assure harsh words spoken,
as reason takes its leave.
Aftermath is regret.
