Nature

Creating
nothing
it doesn’t
seek
to destroy

Apathetic
ill tempered
and by
seasons
— employed

SUDDEN LOVE AFFAIR - poetrix

         Ecstatic Hello at the meeting
        apathetic looking at the disagreement
          We didn't even say goodbye!

Rusty

I am a man who has a
constant taste of fry oil
in his mouth.
Like pond water laden with the
fluid of rotted fauna
I am Rusty, lovelessly satisfied
gladiator of apathetic idealism

Routine

The voluntary choosing of
Involuntary choice

An eloquent expression of
An apathetic voice

A tribute to the losing of
All reason to rejoice

That subtle executioner…

Routine

If I Had Whale Lungs

I would take in liters of air of
confidence and honesty,
after that, I would dive
in the deepest parts of the
political ocean
to hunt politically apathetic, callous
dishonest squids

Premium Member Never Apologize For Being You

Never apologize for being you, he said.
Just don’t be so much of you that people get scared.
I was shocked at this advice from my insane cousin Ned.
I had no idea that this apathetic guy even cared.

Young and Apathetic

making fun of an apathetic young man, slightly older than me i reminded me somewhat of myself and i chose not to care being unconcerned, reminding me again of that young apathetic man

Foolish Sex of the Century

Hardly any creature is
Of equal proficiency
To decipher a melody
Void of meaning

Though the reason for such foolery
Defines the existence of apathetic beings
Therefore upon there foreheads
Carved were no meanings
Form: Verse

Squandered

Squandered, wasted, apathetic and distant
These are the words that describe my existence

Invisible, nobody, forgotten, unwanted
I try to move on as though I'm undaunted

Days end in nights alone in the dark!!

Premium Member Frozen Tears

A perfect day
Frigid, icy winds flurry
     A gray sky hangs low
Stillness abounds
Tedious, in quiet echo

A perfect day
To grieve, to miss you
     For apathetic cemeteries
A perfect day
To cry frozen tears

Premium Member Moans and Groans

We've become moaners,
Grumpy and groaners,
We talk lots of piffle
We cough, and we sniffle.
We mumble and grumble,
We are not very humble
Sighing and crying
There's no denying
We've become apathetic
That is pathetic

Premium Member The Essence of Christmas

Make, Thy love, reverberate in us with all
Its vigor, our Lord

So as

Apathetic, before the underprivileged we
Linger, no more!

Premium Member He Had No Idea Whom He Was Marrying

She was practically comatose
sluggish
lethargic
apathetic

A handsome newcomer slipped into the room
And she miraculously transmogrified
into a glitzy, shiny, fire ball.

He married her a few weeks later
Having no idea
Whom he was getting.

Premium Member OVER SIXTY YEARS

Since I am over sixty,
Me, people try to console!
They give all advice to soothe my soul!
I tell them that I am in fine fettle,
They fail to understand my mettle!
I tell them not to be sympathetic!
Who listens? Each one is apathetic!

Similes For An Apathetic Perspective

the words sting on the way down
burn my throat
like tequila without a chaser
and slosh in the belly of my soul

"I don't want you anymore"

awaken the dull ache
salt the wound that never heals
but like rain on a cloudy day
it's a familiar feeling

Sheep Carriage

Night sky: lifeless, dull, chalky gray

Apathetic expressions face one way

Eyelids heavy, long day

Foggy windows, potholed roads

Warm breaths exhaled, the seats are cold

Zombied stares at blinding screens

Infinite autopilot, we're all machines

I'M Pausitive

Pause.
Treading.
Without cause.
Hot breeze, brushed slate.
Apathetic state.
Rooster, without mo/ourning.
Feels of perpetual, missed date.
Query to contend or content.
A penny earned or a blessing sent.
Strive for change or adoption of what's meant.

No Place For a Hero

Punctured and bruised
soiled and used
a soldier laying dead
Fallen and scorned
with no medals adorned
decorated with wounds instead

A flag left burning
apathetic heads turning
no eye wishes to see
an unmarked grave
with no country to save
this is what happened to me
