Erased my sin’s face
Answered in my place
Saved me by Love's grace
Took on my sin’s waste
Enlightened of truth's taste
Rise up and made haste
The day is blessed,
By the folded hands
Of the setting sun.
The light is the answered
Prayer of the night,
Brings the open hands
of the rising sun.
I once saw a bear on the prowl
Who, one night encountered an owl
The owl said "Who"
The Bear answered "Pooh"
I knew something smelled a bit fowl
