Teen Spirit, a Tanka

smells like teen spirit
the impulse and ammonia
lynx and mary jane
heated hormone heavy air
fogs the windows of the bus

Form: Tanka

Peace

Bread and butter for the just
tasteless soup for the wild

Glory for the Godly
betrayal for the aggressive

Oxygen for the vanquished
ammonia gas for victors
Form: Couplet

Stink

The cook kept smelling something stink
Found out, it was the kitchen sink
Poured ammonia then bleach
That smelled like the beach
Then suddenly, he couldn't think

nothing like a good cry
you know you got it right
the ammonia filling your nose
you know you got it might
no wimps no tears just a total deluge
a cleanse of heart to meet no harm

Stricture

A clearing vision fails.
Nothing is what it seems.
Your inheritance, scuffed
lenses, ammonia, sins
of a grandmother’s house.
Of a grandmother’s house
nothing departs unchanged.
Elbows, knees and knuckles
scraped raw by scour-pads,
solvent, sting of scrubbed air.

1. Stay low,
2. Strike a blow,
3. And go with flow.

Or wake up on the bench
With that ammonia stench.
"How many fingers do you see?
What do you do on 50-Slant-C?"
"He remembers the plays again.
He's okay to go back in-
Just an elbow to the chin."

1. Stay low,
2. Strike a blow,
3. And return that elbow

Dripping Serintonin

Sickly sweet harbor aromas permeate my heart shape cell from
without I have no recollection of remembrances dead squid’s tentacles squirm and tease the
bars of an angelic orangutan eating recently plucked dragonfly wings
and flan on chips of led based paint from dripping pipes of biotoxic ammonia

One Day We Will Learn

All real things
, already were
dreams, one day...

All dense matter,
is made of the ethereal,
indivisible.
impalpable...

no one is a son
of carbon and
of the ammonia...
we're nobler fluid ...

Nothing happens
without a purpose:
even death has
a sense...

Slowly,
let's understand
what the universe plots...
Even if it lasts one
eternity...

At the Gym

creaking rust
spread to my tissues
am growing masses of
bulges appear out of hi-
ding sweat trickles odour
of yesterday humming like
tropical mosquitoes escalati-
ng the growth of surreptitious
microorganisms girls on the bikes
giggling and gossiping i watch like
a saint middle aged mamas perspiri-
ng ammonia and urea swirl in artifici
al air black clad masters instructing lov

Land of the Free (Base)

Thailand,
Or Kensington?
Tinfoil from a Kit-Kat,
Tells you that there’s no difference,
Outside,

Cocaine,
Ammonia,
Old Martell miniature,
A Bic lighter; a mound of ash,
Bangkok?

Fly south
Like Garuda,
Drift off to Koh Samui,
A Beach house, Or Council estate?
Who cares?

Wake up,
Burnt down candles,
Landlord on the doorstep
‘Last weeks rent?’ ‘Giro on Thursday…
…Get lost…’

Midnight Blade

Midnight blade unsheathe that metal put it down to the player let him see how it feels the expression that i felt was more than a smile when i heard him mourn with a slice to the arm the blood it poured like niagra falls like a sheep to the slaughter he lied their like a dog strong scent ammonia filtered the air why gas masks work great why dont you comply

Bears and Garbage

The two do not mix together
They are familiar now forever
How do we separate?

One part ammonia, Noise adds
Part two, part three is very sad
Bear and gun, final fate.

However, the thoughts are running through my head for the after,
out of sheer frustration. I won't kill it though, or maybe I will? With my bare hands? Hmmm? :)

Ammonia-ed clumps of damp, dunged straw
forked onto her cold barrow, then rolled outside.
Across the field where her ninety pounds
thrust up the dray atop a mulching mound!
Nineteen times before the sour dregs
are swallowed by the day.
Bowed tendons stripe her calloused palms with pain.
She racks each open with a metal comb
to rake her horse’s mane.
Stall cleaned; horse fed, mane combed to shine as gold-
Showered, she brings her smile to our bed.
