The Chase

They chase me out of Israel
They chase me out of the Pacific
They chase me out of Asia
They chase me out of Europe
They chase me out of the Americas
Now they are chasing me out of Africa
I have not a place to go Lord

You have heaven

Unpopular Questions Number 3 of 2020

Glorious Spain after 1492, and the cost
Long forgotten, but for Bartolomeo de Las Casas
O the lie of OUR WORK ETHIC! How did Catholic Iberia
Rule the Americas (1492 -1898), dominate Europe?
You can rule, too, if you enslaved all of the Americas!

Citius, altius, fortius,
Olympic motto
swifter, higher, stronger,
Latin you see
will it happen this year?
What about the pandemic?
Five rings
Five countries
Four begin with an A
Americas, Asia, Australia, Africa
Europe, odd man out
I hope it happens
Without repercussions

Americas Dream

A demonstration,
Of black and white,
Showing through as a beacon of light.
I have a dream,
Four words
With a meaning so big,
Thats more difficult to understand than anything.
Forty-seven years have passed.
Really? are we this self-centered?
America as a whole, we could do better.

The Spanish had armadas; the Americas, flotillas. The Amazon has capybara; the Andes has chinchillas. Kentucky has its sassafras; Madagascar has vanilla. Napoleon lost at Waterloo; Frazier, in Manila. Will a person tell the Mexicans how to pronounce tortilla?

The Revolt of Romance and the Returned Remedy

We tore out this hell and sank this English ship
We rafted a life till the Americas ran us dry
A sandy engagement, laughter, our world to tip
Our beats, our waves to sounds ugliest cry
In plunged your thunder to our words your stip
To have us quiet, browbeat, safe and nigh
Old masters married our merriment to desolation
Boys gauged, girls versed, and learned a false elation

When Freedom Sets History In Stone

the tablets of earth are carved in stone, one tablet in Americas' 235 miles long every carving, every word every letter carved in a language known only to God, every word, every carving, every letter as perfectly carved as an amazing engraver chiseling into steel, Gods words, Gods tablets of stone are as historic as us, but as old as the garden of eden itself.

God Save Americas Soy Loco Por Ti Amores

I'm just an ordinary man,
latin barking in south american way
and i say : Soy loco por ti America,
soy loco mis amores...
Yes I'm crazy for love,
but I don't have money in the bank,
  but I have relevant friends,
and many without much importance,
but they're people, and I'm crazy
by people from all over the world...
So i continue writing
for us to be all
friends... !
God save Americas!

As I sit here and ponder
on Americas 250th anniversary,
I look back through history
and the sacrifices people made.
All the wars fought,
revolutions,
civil rights,
and the many other events
that have shaped America.
I look to the future,
to many more celebrations of its birth.
Not just cookouts and parties,
but the true feeling of being thankful
that we are here to see and be apart of it.

Let's Learn Geography!

Let's learn a Social Science subject called Geography

Look at our planet more closely

Through the Globe, behold its replica

Through the Map, behold its vista

Travel through Asia & Europe

The Americas too I hope

The wilderness of Australia, the glaciers of Antarctica

Every place on earth has a panorama!

What Am I

My thought-to-be existence
has caused lots of explorations
around the world; from Americas
to Africa; from Africa to Asia........trekking,
sailing, and flying to where "celestial" maps
and oral traditional stories take them to.

Today, people are still searching for me
in science and magic, sometimes the seekers
becoming insane.

It is believed that whoever takes a sip of me,
becomes immortal like gods!

What Am I?

Promethean Gifts

Inca Indians cultivated potatoes
 thousands of years before Christ.
 Other indigenous domesticated tomatoes
and maize and they gave it to us.

Many centuries of artificial selection
by the indigenous people of the Americas
resulted in the development of corn plants
for the benefit of all mankind.

The Olmecs staple crop –
 Promethean gifts given to us
 in brotherly trust.
And we locked them in artificial Reservations.

Slim Pickings

In addition to indigenous peoples of the Americas known as Native Americans the country of U.S.A. is populated by those from far away other lands but now there are many in the U.S. living illegally on borrowed time as the Governement wants to deport them all for an untried unproven crime and if they do so then who will pick all the fruit and vegetable crops when they are gone back to where they're from as that's where the dollar stops

Black-Footed Ferrets

Black-Footed Ferrets are listed as, endangered
and are the most endangered mammals, in Northern America
They inhabit the grasslands of, the Northern Great Plains
and are the only ferret species, native to Americas colonies

Native American tribes, landowners, conservation and organizations
have given the black-footed ferrets, a second chance for survival
but habitat loss from, human density encroachment developments
and ongoing plagues and diseases, only decreases their revival

Ball Bearings

i'm confused
not knowing
where to go
what to do

my compass
needle sticks
out reading
south by
south
west
but

google map
and my gps
suggest
another
place
as
to

where
the X
may be
yet directing
me are directions
that are directionally
my instincts telling me

you are
exactly
where
you are
meant
to
be

but by my
calculations
with sexton and
star eyed gazing
the Americas weren't
discovered by Columbus
so Colombia isn't spelled

with
a "u"
