Each day carries new hope and new opportunities
I have learned to keep my eyes open for chances
to recognize special moments, demonstrate optimism, and
spread kindness in a world that needs all of the above

Premium Member All One At a Time

One second, one minute, one hour, one day,
one week, one month, one year, one decade.
One century is rapidly becoming the average individual's life time.
One life for all of us to live all of the above.
All one at a time.
Form: Rhyme

One-Emotion

The soul is the soul; the heart is the heart;
The mind is the mind, they cannot be separate, they must be intertwined;
Not by single passion, intimacy, or desire but all of the above;
For this is how I function when I am desperately in love

Why Do I Cry?

Why Do I Cry?

Why do I cry so many times after the sighs
I make with you between my thighs?

Was it your poor performance?

Or the lack of romance?

Could it be the emptiness of love
in your eyes?

Yes, probably all of the above.

Mechanical Life

The man ate,
he spoke,
he walked,
he worked,
he slept,
he awoke,
he repeated all of the above,
day in day out,
he called it life,
and did so,
till he was unable to call it so,
others did the same,
where was the confusion,
this is life.

Premium Member Hope Your Got Out of the House

Did you hug your kids today
Or bow your head and pray
     Did you kiss your spouse
Hope you got out of the house

     With conveniences galore
To do whatever we ask them for
You'd think we'd have time for all of the above

To Be Truly Blessed

To be noble is to be peaceful
To be gentle is to be kind
To be faithful is to be hopeful
To be thoughtful is to be mindful
To be good is to be helpful
To be humble is to be patient
To be warm is to be understanding
To be virtual is to be innocent
But if you have all of the above
It can only mean that you are truly bless.

Articulate, but nothing to say

Achieving,but no ambition
Trusting, but full of suspicion
Cold hearted, but devoted
Political, but never voted

Lazy, but overworked
Level headed, but berserk
Lacks talent, but a numen

Premium Member Let Me Write

Let Me Write

Words are beautiful when we write them to form.
A letter, lyrics, or poetry to be born.

They can be words of hurt or love so far together;
they are all of the above.
Words that God spoke to that of the dove.

I love words and how stories told,
me as I write as words flood the muse.
It keeps me active as some stuff is amused.

Even Still

Although the night is black, the sky is still blue.
A blanket of fog covers the late evening sky; above it, night light from the moon and stars still shines.
When a new day begins dressed in dark clouds; even still, the sun rises along with it to give forth its light.
As I ponder all of the above.... I wonder
Is there love as enduring and true as this?

~*~what Can I Say?~*~

What can i say about the man that I love?
Is he sweet? Is he caring? Well, he's all of the above.
Right now he's away from me but its no big deal.
He'll be back soon enough and then my wounds will heal.
I'm really sad at this moment but I'll be fine.
He'll be home soon in no time.
He told me to listen to "our song" while he's away
Until he's back that song will always play.

Ignorant Heart

If I had it to do all over again,
I'd do the same damn thing
My heart has not yet caught up
With the intelligence of my brain

My Brain is ashamed,
this fact is immensely true
But with an ignorant heart like mine
Whatever may I do?

I'll buy myself a book or two
On the facts such as love
Bring my heart up to date
On intimacy, sex, intelligence,
Or maybe all of the above

Obscene, Obdurate, Obfuscate, Obduracy, Oh Oh Oh

My “Obscene” messages
Have been seen by all.
Eyes twitch at the blue and grey bubbles.
I am disgusted.
They are disgusted.
We are disgusted.
A pungent smell,
A sour taste.
My senses have been contaminated.
One through five.
All of the above.
Gone.
Just like that.
Just one glance at fun-filled,
Childish words,
And you’re sick.
I feel full of regret,
But regret nothing.

Just Because,

I want to thank you for your patience and all of your love

All of your kindness and understanding and all of the above

We fit together tight as a glove

I want to say thank you just because

You rescued me when i was down and out

You know what im saying you know what this is about

Everything is better now that i understand

Because of you and your family im a better man

Premium Member A, B, C--Or All of the Above

(A) Optimist (B) Pessimist, or (C) Realist

These labels that get tossed about are far too cut-and-dried,
and when we fail to act in keeping with the one applied
to us—perhaps since we were kids—we cause close scrutiny.
If “Optimist” feels sad, he is accused of mutiny.
I’m often A, I have been B, but basically I’m a C!
