A, B, C--Or All of the Above

(A) Optimist (B) Pessimist, or (C) Realist

These labels that get tossed about are far too cut-and-dried,
and when we fail to act in keeping with the one applied
to us—perhaps since we were kids—we cause close scrutiny.
If “Optimist” feels sad, he is accused of mutiny.
I’m often A, I have been B, but basically I’m a C!

I was concerned this might be about bra size! I think you laid out a profound philosophical/spiritual lesson in the simplest, grabable (if you will) way. B people are people I pray for yet avoid (difficult when one is your mate's brother) and while I strive for A, I think most of us touch on C intermittently, but I strive with faith to make C an A. I like how you did this, the points you made and am delighted I didn't have to reveal my cup size. All the best to you ... CayCay

Bra size--LOL! I wrote this because of the way people saddle others with labels that stick forever. When I catch myself doing this, I give myself a little kick--then pray about it! Thank you so much for your comment, CayCay! Janice
