Fine dust slumbering under earth and wood
aroused by morning dew,
he awakens from beneath downy moss
to become my tiny mushroom.
they fly up high
to the sky
huh passing by
brids have wings
some get caught
in this thing
it can be insane
BRIDS AND AIRPLANE
Virgin paper sheet
rough crushed into a wad is
tossed into the waste;
folded, lovingly, with care,
can gain wings and soar on high.
I thought she was my doppelganger
I did not approach her, nor she me then
1972 in an airplane hanger
I wonder now what could have been
i watch as the airplane
glides through still skies
towards the glowing amber sunset
till it's wheels meet pavement
and it's mission is met
grating sky noises
elongated screechy scream
clamoring airplane
destroying silence
threatening my peace of mind
in flight path daily
This book I hold in my two hands
Has taken me to distant lands
Without an airplane, without a ship
When I'm finished, so is my trip
i watch as airplane
glides through still skies towards sunset
til mission is met
(on watching my daughter leave for Florida by herself)
“Orville, let’s go to Kitty Hawk -
And make this trip by 6 o’clock”
“Wilbur, from Dayton and back again
By 6 o’clock, we’ll need a plane.”
Allah has EL AL in his hand
The First Class fares don't understand
The pilot and crew
Don't care who has who
They just want the airplane to land
California
Sunny, warm
Swimming, boating, sunning
Sky, airplane, ocean, seashells
Skiing, sledding, snowball throwing
Cold, blistery
New York City
Could you not seethe lights
From a giant airplane
That's in the sky
Moving forward
Even at night, causing
Those young innocent kids
To lose their lives
You know that little indestructible black box that is used on planes for recordings?
Why can't they make the whole airplane out of that very same substance?
did you hear about that lobster from Maine
who tried to steal an airplane
but his plan had some flaws
because he only had claws
and didn't have much of a brain
sardines in a can ---
passengers on an airplane
no room to wiggle
Scarehead of the newspaper startled us.
Scaremonter tactics with lots of fuss.
Fires and flooding.
Airplane crash mudding.
Please don’t read the newspaper, little cuss.
view from the sky
little specks of life
charting their way
through green, blue, and brown
clouds floating in way of the window
like soft marshmallows
ready to be eaten
I always wanted to jump out of an airplane
My friends they would tell me that I was just insane
I took me a chance
but I lost my pants
Giving the ladies a peek at my candy cane
The airplane had been missing since 1944.
We were shocked to see the phantom soar.
It unexpectedly appeared on a summer’s day.
Flying at us between clouds orange, pink and gray.
(for Johnny and June)
I fell into an airplane tire
It went round and round
And the plane went higher
And it turns turns turns
That airplane tire.
That airplane tire.
The page
bears so eagerly
the weight
of everything
inside of me
my pen prostrate
leaves a dent
I muse
this paper could use
some weightlessness
I make an airplane
instead
they fly fast a nd slow
as they go
high in the sky
it could be insane
when they go near or inplane
they get in this smoking thing
it trouble it could bring

Never hid in Jefferson Airplane
Never beat his wife
Never wept on the floor of jail
Never drank his life away
Never ranted on soldiers grave
Never changed his name
Never came back from the dead
God is in
the vapors of my breath
the aroma of my Burberry
the vents of my airplane
abouve and bellow my sorrow
God is in my pain
my courage
my past
my present
God is in my
