The discolored leaf
safeguards a raindrop left by
the inclement storm
Entered in Raul Moreno's contest,

fulfillment of praise
sweet harvest fruit it renders

Today I’m thankful for kindness…
and how it allows our beauty soar….
because with every act of kindness
we become more beautiful than we were a moment before
Today I’m thankful for any act of kindness…
and I wish the world could see…
how kindness is the first step
on the road to acceptance
to love
to peace…
and harmony
I’m grateful for kindness…
any act of kindness that any day becomes unfurled…
for who’s to say…
that one act of kindness might change a person
or someday
even change the world.
Today I’m thankful for unexpected kindnesses….
and I’m happy to give hope within this rhyme…
how it is possible to change the world
through one unexpected act of kindness at a time.
I was a random act of kindness, don't you see
My mother was real lonely, but she didn't want to be
My father he was charming, I'll agree
But In that one selfless moment, They were making me
Today I’m thankful for the magic inherent in kindness…
We should never take an act of kindness for granted…NEVER!
because the simplest act of kindness
can lead to feelings that echo into forever.
When you blew me that kiss,
I knew right away it would miss.
But a little girl picked it up,
as it landed in a buttercup,
and said, "I think you were meant to be the recipient of this."
One small act of kindness~can mean the world to the one receiving it

When you venture out into the world today
Make a vow to yourself to make someone's day
Because a little act of kindness goes a long way.

For when three lines are so much better contest
Sponsored by Silent One.
Have you ever rendered an act of kindness?
Refused to take payment for said act of kindness?
Asked them to pay it forward, be kind to someone in need?
Been kind when no one was watching, to the bum on the street?
Tell us about it...
The ripples grow
When a pebble hits the water
The ripples grow
An act of kindness ripples too
When acted on by me to you
A wave will roll outwards on cue
The ripples grow

Act of kindness, a love to give
Pound of mercy, a life to save
Let us all share the greatest gift
And shun the discord and the rift
Where there is love, there is bright hope
True love can even a steep slope
A pretty girl
Posting a letter
In November
Sending it to young soldier
The wind sent her skirts swirling
Expectations were in the air
No one would ever know
How much this act of kindness would mean
To a soldier in Viet Nam on his last day
An act of kindness,
however small,
is never wasted…
or so the saying goes.
for that one act of kindness casts a seed
from which more kindness grows
Which makes me wonder
when I stop to think about it all…
if any act of kindness…
can ever be considered small.
Colors do swirl
Savory
Bravery
Charted
Hearted
The one who held out her hand
While others did not understand
Act of kindness
Many received and witnessed
My Lord does giveth
Power of forgiveness
Stood in turn
Love stands firm
My penmanship
Is Heavens friendship
How will darkness be dissipated
With the Light of God, so anticipated
Yet we can't just stand idly by, doing nothing
For that Light to arrive, we must each do something
Every day, a good deed, an act of kindness
Lest we risk He come unseen midst our blindness
She wondered why I held the door.
The moment bringing shock and pleasure.
You'd swear there was a past once more
as manners led to sense of measure.
She thanked me for the act of kindness;
which hit my hard deep chest.
But not for thoughts of being friendly,
for those of times I took a rest.
Any act of kindness,
No matter how insignificant to us may appear,
Never goes unnoticed by heavens
If
With pure love is imbued and by true compassion,
Embraced!

She cries but the tears were in her words...
So to wipe away her tears I offer her my ears...
Sadness in her eyes got a river flows in mine...
Such heart-ache to such a beautiful soul...
I hope my act of kindness replaces what he stole.

Every day, kindness’ reborn
May all rejoice, the world’s adorned
The boy who takes his elder's arm
keeping him safe from traffic’s harm
The girl who visits nursing homes
bestowing serenity and shalom
Each act of kindness, welcome news
~ hope for our future, divinely infused
A simple gesture
really
'anyone would do it'
I guess
except no one ever has
hardly
a random act of kindness?
better
because it was done just for me
gladly
given without coaxing or expectation
freely
and came into the room without fanfare
softly
yet found and touched the deepest part of my soul
gently
