Premium Member Clerihew Kupka

Frank Kupka the French artist
was a natural anarchist
First to create true abstract art
sadly with too many ideas to impart

Premium Member A Thousand Years

Princess in the tower
Rare exceptional flower
Beauty that appears
Once in a thousand years

Sequestered heart
Untamed abstract art
Emotion laid bare
Sweet gift of her stare

Premium Member Abstract Art

Psychedelic streams, winding threads of emotion, chasing dreams towards their own rainbow; a cacophony of thoughts; splashes of the soul, on a canvas.

Trees of Old

Trees have a kind of flexibility,
Given time they will grow
And left untouched
Branches will wrap around
With twisted, gnarled limbs,
Integrating themselves
Into unintentional abstract art.
A photographer's dream.

Mystery

The most beautiful mystery
Like deep brown eyes
or treacherous lies

Like hidden secrets
or hidden regret
you try to forget

Like long sleeves
Autumn leaves
or who to be

Like fake smiles
hurt hearts
abstract art

Premium Member Dead To Love My Non-Beating Heart-

Abstract Art

A dab here, a splash there
vivids and pastels
smooth and scraggy

spontaneous strokes
wrapped in mystery

Profound
Subtle
Silent
Divine.

Abstract Art.

A beam, a flame,
A flicker, a flash

from

Infinity.

Affairs of the Heart

slowly it builds
quickly it falls
indifference met
a shadowed wall

love that sings
from deep heartstings
a single note
a deafening ring

affairs of the heart
painted, abstract art
a disappearing act
as it departs

Premium Member My Love For Abstract Art

Connoisseurs ooh, they ahh, they see horses and knights.
They utter words I do not know, admire art’s lights.
Talk about the luminosity, the density, feign delight.
Abstract paintings to me are ridiculous, boring and a fright.

YOU LIVE IN A FANTASY WORLD

YOU LIVE IN A FANTASY WORLD

You say that the sky is red
And see yourself as a fairy
Perhaps your mind is easily led
This abstract art is scary
You live in a fantasy world
The hovering dragonfly said
As reality becomes unfurled
Perhaps it is time for bed

Premium Member Not For Me

All abstract art juggles my mind
And makes me want to turn away.
My eyes are causing me distress.
I know I can no longer stay.

Too late! My head begins to spin.
My stomach turns. I’m very ill.
I should have known not to look
Before taking my vertigo pill.

Premium Member Abstract

Love knows a way
To fashion day

Blessing comes down
To ease our frowns

Touch of magic
Heals dynamic

Abstract art finds
An open mind

If only when
Joy blossoms then

In a crisp swirl
A happy world

SILHOUETTE (20/23) — POSTURE

Abstract art
Seize odd moment;
Style finesse

~~~~~
Here I greet
Each face I meet
On busy streets
Where touch tells each
A better reach
Here I chance
Upon new trance
Of poignant dance
As touch times meet
Beyond words sweet
When perfumed pearls rest within tulip twilight, star-speckled gems mirror jade moonlight. Listen to the rain-kissed springs as dawn the breeze brings. Rhyme of heart sings abstract art within warmth of wings~ fluttering ruby red rings, shifting through mists of hazy midnight when perfumed pearls rest within tulip twilight..
Breakaway Stem
there is always a breakaway stem
that makes your life more colorful
the abstract art inspires you to think differently
the many different parts influences you to try different points of transit
you want to run, but the authenticity pulls you back in
via the many sudden light bulbs dinging off in your head,
now you too are a breakaway stem yearning for many a new realm
Lyrealism
There’s not much music in poetry now,
the poets have taken an austerity vow,
thread-bare lines, no rhythm or rhyme,
con-man words, artistic pantomime?
Lyricists shunned, unless rocking a mike,
It’s not what the Professors like!
Too confused by much now written,
Like abstract art, the critics smitten
by works that display very little skill,
I'd rather view Andrew Wyeth’s hill.
SURREALITY
SURREALITY
How does one know if it’s surreal
Cold logic sometimes plays its part
Is it what’s known or what you feel
When it’s a dimensional shift
It’s more likely brain, not the heart
With many images to steal
Yet Moebius loops have no start
As a supplicant, one should kneel
In the presence of abstract art
Whilst keeping on an even keel
When it’s a dimensional shift
Me
First of all, let me tell you this. I am not just like anybody else. I am an art, yet a perplex one. A notional, complicated masterpiece. Don't compel yourself to fathom my cognitive content because even I cannot explain who really am I to myself. I want you to understand me the way your mind can just do. After all, I am an abstract art. It depends upon the spectator what to see upon me.
Unseen Land
Bright rays of light shine through the leaves,
warming my face,
the paths are trampled,
footprints sunk in the muddy ground,
drops of water rest on leaves,
ticks wait to grasp onto passing victims,
clouds roll slowly through the sky,
imitating daily life and abstract art,
birds unseen yell at each other,
and motors roar in the distance,
reminding me I'm an alien in a foreign land.
Premium Member Daydreaming
Kickstart the creation of abstract art
Slow play the haze in a wandering day
Drip coffee with hints of toffee
Beach bum take your pick and strum
Careless pain from a neck strain
Light pelting from clouds melting
Rhythmic waves dig sandcastle graves
Strangers stroll with a glance so droll
Horizon anonymous with sea synonymous
Lost in time chasing an elusive rhyme
Premium Member Another Shore
Abstract art reveals the broad, mauve doorway, To the beautiful world of bold, magical colors, Of mahogany sunset, with orange, striated display; Or skewed, vivid homes. Of gem weeping lovers! The pretty wave of multicolored droplets comes, And elongated, green flowers wait at sandy shore. Trees of bicolored blooms, rapturize in two suns. As ladies walk calico cats. Particolors evermore!
Premium Member Abstract
Glimpse in new light
Flash beyond sight
Where pulse takes flight
Abstract art tells
A hidden spell
Where strange dreams dwell
Here round the bend
Seize ample grand
Odd touch that spans
Joy moves taut feel
As awkward thrill
Comes now to heal
No language can
Restore lost plan
In broken stand
Still seek the hook
Of searching looks
In open book
A Matron
Her, an abstract art
Whom he finds difficult to understand
Truly inaugurated by Almighty's heart
Her, an expensive brand
Her aura enlightens
The dim & dead
Morning brightens
As she communicates eye to eye & head to head
He gets jitter while confronting her slaughtering smile
Barely manages to talk
Since her only job is to send him exile
Yet above all is her seductive cat walk
His highness
Take heed of his shyness
