Time does not
Have to pass through the hands
But through absorbent eyes
Extending hours
With their gaze
Would the hands, the eyes,
The gaze exist
If it weren't for
The beholder?
I am real as I can take
I'm sleeping wide awake
Man.
a creation,
a wandering soul,
always exploring the unknown,
absorbent to anything but truth,
yet willing to fight for lies ,
not caring who lives or who dies.
His pride and opinions are his downfall,
for pride goeth before a fall,
refusing still to bend knees,
giving glory unto thee,
the only truth,
one creator,
God.

There is something unexhausted of you
in this aging washed-out coat
and I lift my nose
to taste the smell that desires
to be invited-
ignited in the closing of your breath,
untarnished and thirsty.
Like rage, it licks,
streams,
and enters my dreams
glossy as brilliance-
you-
rush in my mentation
with warmth that comforts
my skin.
I breathe you in unfathomable-
not wanting to exhale.
