In the sky the moon is but a sliver.
Amidst pondering thoughts I begin to shiver.
Something's there stirring from deep within.
Mingling around the contents of this lonely den.
A shadow is casting there upon the wall.
Peering over the edge to watch the waterfall.
Visions of roaring tides over jagged stones.
Noisily shutting out the long silenced moans.
Whispering sweet promises the howling wind as cover.
While stepping those stones across one to another.
Lightening strikes and the thunder does crack.
A tremendous whirlwind of a storm on the attack.
Though every step taken be calculated and nimble.
All caught up in the storm and starting to trimble.
Glaring defiantly in the face of the churned up tide.
There's courage in not running back to the other side.

Tumultuous storm brewing overhead.
Waking the silence of the once undead.
In the air there is quite the chill.
Ticking clock on the window sill.
Lightening strikes and brightens the sky.
Clouds so heavy they begin to cry.
Pouring down the unrelenting rain.
With an energy level beautifully insane.
Rain beating on the panes of glass.
Watching and waiting for time to go past.
Howling winds they threaten to twist.
As they get all caught up in the shrouded mist.
Ticking and tocking of that precious clock.
When suddenly at the door there is a knock.
Startled frozen in the middle of the night.
But I thought I saw a shining light.
Yonder there it is across the moor.
Coming straight for me is the eye of the storm.

My pet dragon Calgon lives in a lair.
He comes when I summon - if I dare.
Standing motionless except long flowing hair.
Over and over again I find myself there.
Caught by the trappings of the wizards snare.
The price of the ticket or passenger fare.
Leaving me breathless and worse for the wear.
Calgon approaches so courageous and unscared.
Giving me a knowing and hypnotizing stare.
Then announces his presence with a resounding blare.
As he trumpets his weapon with a fiery air.
Down goes the enemy with all their wares.
Trespassers should heed warning and so beware.
There will be no mercy - Calgon never plays fair.
When all is said and done I'm left very aware.
No one will quite understand our love affair.
Or how his loyalty and warmth are beyond compare.
Wrapping me up tight in his protective care.
Promising there is no more danger wielding despair.
So matters not to me no one else is actually there.
Calgon is always waiting for me at the top of those stairs.

Pray tell haven't you heard
Of a well known legend named Lady Bird
Whom, they say, never ever spoke a word
Soon after she became one of the undead
In the midst of an ominous moon blood red
She sported a halo above her head
When she awoke from her dreams
Upon her back she'd sprouted wings
To fly away from all the evil things
Feathers of down like a blanket of snow
Glistening petals so icy and cold
While all around her aura aglow
She carries a lantern in her claw
Looking around in majestic awe
And marveled at all that she saw
As she set out to fly on her own
Gracefully she carries her hollow bones
Singing the silent yet deafening tones
Among all there is to see
She flies about unhindered and free
If she closes her eyes and just
Believes

Come my friend and
fly with me
Believe in something
you cannot see
Go on ahead and
bring your wings
Beyond the world of
store bought dreams
In a kingdom of ever
clear running streams
Where all living animals
are roaming free
Among beautiful fields with
grasses so green
Growing floral bouquets swaying
in the breeze
Through the woods full
of towering trees
Along the shore where even
the dolphins sing
While we all live together in
peace and harmony
And where everything is just
as it seems
Didn't you know there was
such a thing?

Three little angels came to visit me yesterday
They laughed and danced as they carelessly played
Gave me a hug and a smile to help me alone my way
To see the tomorrow that would become today
So that I might have the opportunity to say
Thank God for the three little angels he sent to visit me yesterday...

(Aho. Hear my prayer!)
Today is a good day to die
No matter what's happening or going on in the sky
Every day is a good day to die
No matter what we think of it. You and I.
One day we are all going to die
No matter. Even if we choose to close our eyes
So make Today a good day to die
And may thy Spirit be ready for the journey and flight

Taking me down
To the fields of green
Along the brightest star
I've ever seen
Wait by the water
Till it hits the shore
To find an empty bottle
Nothing more
