November is great without doubt
blest by God around goodness route
pouring down His provisions’ flow
to enable thanksgiving glow…
revealing joyous praise-filled heart
sufficed along contentment cart.
Vanquishing despondency pout
brought by dearth, marked with crisis’ shout
November rainy days bestow
sure bounty harvest in a row
while prayer upon faith's rampart
ascends to heaven through grace start.
Serenity exuding out
triumphant midst pandemic bout
November winds waft hope's full blow
in our land of no Fall and snow
supplies* abounding a la carte
shield us from attacking lack’s dart.
*Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

November is late autumn's prize,
arriving with its last goodbyes,
to usher in cool, crisper days-
perhaps with flakes, or icy glaze-
as trees will shed their golden shawls
to soon don fluffy, snow-white falls.
With time to stay indoors, surmise-
a cozy fire, a book- while eyes
enjoy the autumn's vibrant blaze-
redone from summer's verdant phase-
create a patchwork quilt that sprawls,
neath whirling winds from mini squalls.
Month-end brings time to aggrandize
Thanksgiving Day! We energize
in sharing feasts, with love and praise-
as kin and friends enjoy the craze.
When days run out, next month installs
more holidays- then, New Year calls.

This poem is November’s song.
golden month of thirty days long
with daylight hours that fade at dusk
colors bright of orange and rust.
Most human hearts are filled with glee
another Thanksgiving to see
November’s snow is new and bright
Through its flakes peek December light,
a hope for all the human race
with footsteps in the snow to trace
a frost upon the fallen leaves
white blanket for the naked trees.
Old friends return unto the fold
with kitchens full of love so bold
smoke rising from a well-cooked bird
a sudden burst of laughter heard
air that’s filled with pumpkin and spice
helps make a festive scene so nice.
This keepsake time is always dear
with smiling yuletide standing near.
The barns with wheat and corn abound
and cornucopia astound,
Truly, truly a month to prize
with beauty set before the eyes.
