Television Noise

I like television noise in the background,
the hullabaloo, the chattering, the talkative voices;
            sometimes even the uproar of reality shows,
and even the thundering, piercing roar of crime drama.

      The blaring sports with the loud cheers,
the pandemonium and commotion of a mystery;
            I can sleep to the over-dramatic night news,
oh yes, the melodious voice of 24 hour news just lulls me.

      And in the morning- I can repeat the news,
from all over the world because of that television noise.

Sly Fox - Dramatic Verse, Epic and Deep

SLY FOX - Dramatic verse, Epic and Deep.
Dramatic verse? How surprising coming from the SLY FOX Drama Queen.
Epic and deep? Well, excuse me
but you have me confused with somebody else entirely.
I'm about as deep as PD's so called poetry.
So listen good and listen hard to me my little SLY FOX Drama Queen pretty.
Go stick your SLY FOX head on the body of a donkey
so that all who then see you will truly see you as
what you truly are. A Royal Pain In The Ass!
Yeah, again I know this isn't the correct form
Feel free to disqualify me.
I just happened to be rambling along
and thought I'd stop for a quick slam on PD.

This isn't for PD's contest,
but I'm entering it anyway because I'm her nemesis and pest.

In front of me he stands in disgust. I know that life is not what it shows. Nonetheless, this is addressable. ___________________________________| Ascribed July 15, 2015! Verse Drama/Dramatic Verse Acrostic (A New Form by Verlena S. Walker)

Denouement

The Story of My Life-

My life so far has been a series of chapters and books,
from my birth to the final curtain- a play with intricacies;
entwined with sorrow and darkness as each chapter weeps,
      and I the star actor,
         in this drama of life.
I play my part in each chapter with a beginning- ending,
and at times the outcome is doubtful and oh quite dramatic;
the plot, the drama, and the story would make a very thick novel,
    and the very best;
      would be the last act.
        The grand end-  finale,
          the scene a cemetery;
            there would be weeping,
             drifting in the drooping trees;
               of course, it must be raining too.
And at last the culmination and conclusion of this life,
my soul would sigh- my inner eyes would close at long last;
and I would fold my hands in peace- the fight over in this ending act,
     finally denouement,
       and final resolution.
Oh, bring me red roses and lay them on my grave, beloved,
        then close the book of my life and bid me farewell . . . the end.
