Premium MemberThe Scariest Word

The word, "Cancer"
Perhaps the scariest
in the English language.
There's no easy way
         to come to grips
with this deadly,
unforgiving disease.
It doesn't respect
         age or gender.
Unimaginable
the tremendous damage
It inflicts
on the human body,
how it badly ages sufferers
       physically.
Cruel, what it does
           to one's spirit;
the excruciating pain
  it causes
An absolute nightmare
         of a disease!
Oftentimes,
it invades the body
unbidden
And wreaks havoc.
       It claims
far too many lives
on a daily basis.
Not even non-smokers.
            are immune.
The odds of surviving cancer
grim, if detected late.
But the good news is,
it's not an automatic
death sentence.
  To anyone
        battling cancer...
hold onto hope,
        fight on!
With your support system
              and God
right by your side
You'll beat it.

The Scariest Tree

I'm only 4 and three foot tall and the world is a scary old space
Me and my mates know of a place where the scariest tree stands tall.
Over the farmers gate across by the lake
stands the scariest tree in the world .
The trunk of the tree leans towards me, and splits at the top to make two long arms .
Now as the sun sets and it catches the light it looks like its coming for me .
I sprint for the gate before its to late as the scariest tree reaches out .

Back home safe at last with tales to tell dad
I sit down for a well deserved tea ,
I then play some games and watch the TV and before long its bed time for me,
I fall fast asleep and this is the time the scariest tree gets me.

true story over the fields at the end of my street . cheers

The Scariest Night Ever

On Halloween evening strange things happen by moonlight,
one can hear ghosts whispering behind shady trees,
loud witches flying on speedy brooms spreading much fright;
wear a cross: Dracula lurks to satisfy his bloody needs!

It's the scariest night ever: witches chanting, zombies and ghosts stomping,
trying to grab young souls to take with them and the horrifying place is Hell!
Nobody can run from them, they surround everyone grinning and moaning;
faster, much faster run to your home, find that old book to break the spell!

Every corner has its eerie shadow lingering, look twice, then proceed;
pay attention to soft sounds: it's not the noise of slow, fat raccoons:
it's the footsteps of a spirit whose face is blacker than a poppy seed...
he may stop and greet you, beware of his tricks, be swift in your shoes!

It's the scariest night ever, some hate it, others love it: I take no side;
Halloween was meant for fun, for kids adore this tradition like their moms!
Hand them a nice treat and they will thank you with their cutest smile,
let this be the scariest night ever: Frankenstein chases dudes who throw eggs!

Premium MemberAmerican's Most Scariest

You say you're not afraid
Of Were-wolves and the like
Or those blood-sucking Vamps
That fly around at night
No creature from the crypt
Could make you run and hide
And no pack of dead dog zombies
Could make you stay inside

Monsters sure know better
To stay out of your way
And if they don't, they know
That they will have to pay
You say you are the reason
That ghosts are pale and white
And ghouls and goblins only dare
To come out late at night

Now, I've known you just a few years
And I'll confess it's true
I've never met a person
More scarier than you
I remember the very day
I was most, feared, for my life
When I signed those legal papers
That made you my X-wife

The Scariest Storm of the Season

Sandy was the scariest storm of the season
with gigantic waves rising and battering shores
as violent winds lashed houses and trees;
there was no safe place for someone who knows
how frightful and real is Nature's wrath watched from a window,
and until it left, faith brought me to my trembling knees;
I still cuddle up in a warm blanket and await the sunrise's first glow,
not thinking of death, but surviving for a good reason!

Boats and yachts in the Long island Sound were secured with anchor's chains
and rocking they withstood the surge's massive force resisting doom,
but the small bungalows along the roaring shore
gave into the rushing waves that advanced like a warrior!.
How awful they looked without doors and windows!
How sad were the pitiful shrieks of fleeing seagulls and raves!
Those rain shawls, accompanied by steady wind, kept on lashing the soaked dunes...
till they disappeared into the ocean's twenty feet tides controlled by an unseen moon!
The devastation of Sandy has left its anguishing memory in me,
and being afraid it will return...I shiver thinking of another catastrophe!

"scariest House"

There was an old man who lived all alone.
In an old house full of moans and groans.
I saw bloody bones and butcher knives.
They say he took his families lives.
Screems and growls comming from under the ground.
Underneath the house is where the bones were found.
He said death comes to those that see to much.
So from now on don't look or touch.
Dark eerie sounds fill the night.
When I'm dreaming he's in my sight.
