Premium MemberThe Crimson Sari

A vibrant hue, a bold design,
It drapes her form, a strength divine.
No longer veiled in shades of gray,
She shines in crimson, come what may.

The silken threads, a vibrant dance,
Reflect her spirit, her fierce trance.
A testament to freedom's call,
She wears her power, standing tall.

The whispers fade, the doubts retreat,
Her crimson sari, a bold feat.
A declaration, loud

Indian Sari

Wrapped around the sylphlike waist
the sumptuous silk chiffon sari
is hand-gathered into even pleats,
likened to the petals of a flower,
and is tucked bewitchingly below the navel
baring the midriff alluringly.

The loose-end Pallu, crosses over
a sleeveless bosom-hugging choli
and is draped caressingly over the shoulder.

Premium MemberSari Finesse

Chandelier earrings dangling
Golden bangles jingling
Thick long raven hair
Twisted and pinned in swirls
With ornate gold embellishment
Luxuriously wrapped
In silk and brocade
Lavish lengths
Of rich flamboyant colors
Parading effortlessly
Their exotic saris
Swaying in graceful rhythm
Gliding by on air
In exquisite hues
And charms of opulence

became a mound of her mounds
curve of her curves
and dip of her dips.
I knew how euphoric that pinky felt
When dried up and separated from her
......retained her shape.

Nine Meters To Centimeters:Evolution of Sari

The sun sets while the loyal footsteps
of a shadow enveloped in a drape of rudhira
walks down from one corner of the house to another
in obedience. Multiple jobs and multiple voices call
out her name every second, asking for a lifelong performance.

Happiness in the smiles of others, the belief
that is carried; ingratitude is ignored.
Selling pieces of herself
