Kinda mellow in the last wee while
Autumn gets me but don't loose my smile
Try oh so hard
No punch card
Tune into “S.M.I.L.E.” on your dial
All of the popular kids are invited to party
Laughter abounds as they get inebriated
Chortles and giggles, making less sense every hour
Outrageous behaviors run rampant, to prove they are drunk
He starts to get irritated with his wife’s barbed comments
Ornery now, he begins to “try and top her insults”
Less giggling now, as people begin to feel concerned
In a matter of minutes, there is a full blown shouting match
Shoving and slapping ensues, quieting the onlookers
Merriment dies a natural death; hurt feelings in the morning.
Love for living is not limited to those born with a caul,
Illustrious beliefs arrive at daybreak and on moonbeams.
Ferocious appreciation for ancestors who live in the great hall.
Excitement of life can be found in coffee’s sweet creams.
Staying true to ourselves saves many of us from a big fall.
Mysteries galore are shown to us in visualization dreams.
Youthfulness stays when we hear our soul’s urgent call.
Solitude is a way to understand God’s gentle push streams.
Total flexibility helps us climb every large daunting wall.
Enthusiasm shines down from spiritual advisor’s sweet beams.
Respect for others keeps us feeling amazingly on track and tall.
Imagination unties herself willingly, expanding her seams.
Enhancement of self can be pretty easily done without gall.
Soul keeps our secrets, loving us casually in our ethereal dreams.

Silly Me!
Oh! I do feel silly in the bright light of day.
Fumbling around in the darkness, looking for my slippers
tripping over slip mats and half falling down the stairs.
Hearing noises from the kitchen.
Is anybody there?
With no answer forthcoming, but sounds of a pouring pot.
I'll have to investigate, should I or should I not?
Whispers from the kitchen, the smell of toasted bread.
Is anybody there? I shout's.
It's the second time I've said.
I creep down the stairs, I have to take a peak, but not
wanting to get caught.
Come on in lass. Shouts me dad. You're causing such a draught.
Oh dad, oh mum it's only you. You gave me such a scare.
While the house was still in darkness I shouted, "Is anybody there?"
And yes I do feel silly in the bright light of day
as there's no-one else in the house except dad, mum and me.
Has Anyone Seen My Tooth Floss?
Has anyone seen my tooth floss, I left it on the shelf.
I know exactly where it was I put it there myself.
But when I went to get it I found it wasn't there
has anyone seen my tooth floss?
does anybody care.
I really need my tooth floss
now at the point of despair.
Someone shouts ,
shut up you fool you put it on your chair.
Sure enough I found it on the left arm of my chair.
Convinced I'd left it on the shelf
how on earth did it get there!
How easy we forget the things we say and do.
Have you ever lost your tooth floss?
Oh! It's happened to you too.
