You are the star on top of my Christmas tree
The fire that warms me on a cold winter night
The song I hum when I am happy
That memory I cherish all year long
My social media favorite
My ultimate crush
The best daydream
I wish I could roll out the red carpet
Every time I see you
Because you are
My celebrity.
Spontaneously taking me to a land of opportunity.
A wonderous realm of possibilities awaits me.
Immersing me in showers of splendor and ecstasy.
I foresee a future so bright its illumination blinds me.
Spectacles of magnificence waft by my eye to my heart.
Let this awe-inspiring significance prepare to start.
No more exuberating sensation could be bought.
Where command performances are daily sought.
An exhilarating ride high on the crest of a mighty wave.
So very exquisite I shall create my very own enclave.
Joining the Elizabethan Trust Theatre Performing Arts.
At such a young age was my dream auditioning my parts.
Acting was all I lived for, being accepted was even more.
Life was wonderful, a good job and study I would adore.
I guess it was perseverance, luck and talent, I had some.
So get ready to roll out the red carpet, here I come.

Soon to be hearing trumpets
Excitement eagerly building
Anticipation anxiously awaits
Soon the suspense will be put to rest
Hoping hopefulness translates
Forecasting future happiness
Projection primed for perfection
Not allowing for deviation
In reality it can go any direction
Impossible to predict the end result
Time to put down the crystal ball
Better to back off on assumptions
Easing up on expectations big and small
Antidote is taking comfort in any outcome
Loosening up the reins on speculation
No longer jumping to conclusions
Removing conjecture from the calculation
Come on in, the Crowd awaits- the Nation is on its feet
Expressing thanks for your service-dare not be discreet.
We roll out the red carpet - of jubilant praise just for you
Expressing our gratitude for all you've done and do.
We tip our hats to God for he has heard us as we say
Keep the soldiers under your wings he heard us pray.
You went into a battle yet, didn't know what to expect
Fought for our countrys freedom without any regrets.
We indeed are so blessed by the ones who did survive
Even those who succombed then, in our hearts are now alive.
