alderman curry
collected closet doorknobs
lived reclusively with poco,
his faithful afghan
one clear evening,
he told poco to stay
and that he loved him
poco's senses caused him
to whine confusingly
alderman curry went into
the woods, took a rope hidden
in a hollow tree, said his last words,
'NOW I AM FREE TO BE'
at 5:15 the next morning,
alderman curry's hung,
lifeless, and limp body
was discovered by a worried poco
the faithful afghan did not
cry out an emergency yelp
for help, he just let his best friend
and master be.....his secret loyally safe

A silhouetted shattered shell, within a distant dormant dwell
Eternally exists a place I call home, at rivers edge a restless roam
Only I can reclusively reside, thru echoic emotions of love denied
Scarlet seeds of a seductive start...right here...in my heart...

Worming through the tantalizing jungle
nearly catatonically sated
with bitter antonym of nourishment,
my choice is to withdraw reclusively.
Time’s suspended …
dreams elsewhere,
until,
under glassine membrane occurs
a veiled but stirring transformation.
Soon opened,
this envelope reveals
the full-fledged figure
that’s fluttered proudly
in the warm light of day.
Then swiftly flying,
joyously, to the glittering bank,
I sip the nectar of the gods
as a newly emerged writer.

Unerringly she always knows
when I need a hug.
Or a friend to sit calmly by.
Never does she judge.
I hold her here within these arms,
when the sadness calls.
Lays her head upon my shoulder,
as my tears do fall.
With her overflowing patience,
she accompanies me.
In public, as to seem normal,
not reclusively.
She alerts me unobtrusive,
when fear overtakes.
A gentle touch and eye contact,
tells me I am safe.
Embodiment of humanity,
this hero of mine.
She gives to me daily,
healing over time.
Although she isn't human,
she has done wonders.
Emotional Support Animal,
I couldn't "Live" without her.

I put up a good front when I have to be
mingling around others socially.
The truth is I'm not what I appear to be.
I'm not a social people kind of person.
I live very reclusively.
