Rock River

Lost in the wild grass......fighting the sun's sweat drenching reign I head down to Rock River my favorite place to pray and receive
Awe-struck...I arrive in a grove of wild lavender tulips and
raise my arms to the sky and begin to spin my body in a spiral motion as purple lavender melts with green wild grass high
my body slowly comes to a stop as I Forge on my way...my heart pounding my anticipation building

I stop from a moment to marvel at two huge wild rose bushes as I laugh and ponder my sweet lover whom awaits my arrival at rivers edge.....I puck one white rose and flutter
on down the woodland path.

I hear a sweet hymal lilting as the river draws closer.....with great excitement a slight breeze kicks up bringing a wafting scent of my ladies scented neck line

I climb the last boulder to peer at my loving lady of cinnamon skin and amber hair as she rolls to her back and motions me near

I arrive at the golden sand my heart pounding as I reach for her loving hand
