Facing World War Iii

Not so likely we’re facing World War III Of course, I could be wrong, wait and see, No one wins when a nuclear bomb flies Nobody gains! -- if the whole world dies. What good is all the money in the world -- Yachts, planes, luxury homes flags unfurled? If human beings cannot on the planet thrive In that case, I’d just as soon not be alive. It seems foolish to me to worry about a hit When I cannot do a solitary thing about it. So, I will continue to go about my affairs If a warning siren blasts, I’ll go downstairs Where for the duration I think I can subsist I know of nothing else to do except to exist.
