Christmas Specials
Like every Christmas, the markets and
retailers are loaded with Christmas Specials.
Indeed, those specials are good for the economy.
Notwithstanding, reaching out and offering another
human something special is also a Christmas Special.
A young lady struggles to survive in Africa.
It's very different than survival in America.
She's not a statistical dot on a UN display chart.
She's responsible, selfless, and very smart.
She is much deserving of attention and care.
We've never heard her say, "This isn't fair".
She takes the life that she's been dealt
and thrives with a little bit of help.
She does not get any kind of welfare.
Minimal at best is any type of healthcare.
And she never worries whether there is clean air.
She's happy and grateful if she has food and water.
My wife met Grace in Uganda some 20 years ago.
My wife has helped her to survive this 20 year period.
I say 'helped' because Grace does not look for
Handouts, but just a little help from a friend.
Grace is an entrepreneur and loves to share.
I tell you, Grace is a live and loving soul;
A soul created in God's image just like us.
This Christmas, may we all reach out to someone
special like Grace and do something special.
