Sheepishly

Winter’s run its course
And nature’s had its rest
The blanket of snowy white
Has lost its glow
How dull the skies
That wake from slumber
The frigid frost has lost its bite
The winds have lost their thunder
Sheepishly the spring sneaks in
Barely half awake still half asleep
