Monk mode
We
cannot
ascend till
negating fear,
as also desires,
we live internally,
refining our responses,
mindfully gentling our actions,
recognising we must walk the talk,
moment after moment, day after day.
Yogic practice, prayers and chants help not,
unless we emote love breath by breath,
deeming all souls one, none apart,
enlivening those we meet,
with joyous tenderness,
feeling in their hearts,
God’s pure spirit,
that pervades
our form
too.
